What comes with it

Does it work on carpet?
The listing marks the model for tiles, hard floors and carpets. No independent side-by-side carpet test was found, so the marketing claim is not confirmed by a third party. The only owner report that addresses carpet describes weaker results over time: a review dated 22 April 2023 says suction declined after a few months and carpet cleaning suffered.
If most of your floors are carpet, treat this as an open question. Look for carpet-specific testing from independent sources before relying on the model, and inspect the floor nozzle design in person or in detailed photos.
The 99.97% filtration claim
The figure of 99.97% of dust and allergens appears in retailer product copy. It is a manufacturer or seller statement, not a result from an independent study, and no third-party filtration test for this model was identified.

If filtration matters to you, ask the seller or manufacturer which named HEPA standard the filter meets and how it was tested. The washable filter should be cleaned and dried according to the care instructions in the manual before reuse.

One rating from one reviewer is not representative. The account is useful because it names specific issues to check, not because it establishes how often they occur.
What the feedback does and does not establish
Taken together, the reviews raise four practical questions: noise, emptying frequency, carpet performance and attachment durability. They do not answer any of them. Positive and negative accounts coexist, and the sample is too small to say that the vacuum is quiet, durable or effective, or that it fails regularly. Warranty and return terms deserve more attention than the star rating.

The WHVC02SB instruction manual covers assembly, operation, emptying the dust container, cleaning, troubleshooting and warranty. Its safety instructions include:
- Unplug the vacuum before cleaning it.
- If the intake, brush or telescopic tube becomes blocked, stop the vacuum, remove the obstruction, and only then restart it.
- Do not vacuum hot objects such as cigarette ends or ashes.
These are operating instructions, not performance claims. Because the manual is the authority on maintenance, read its cleaning and filter sections before first use.
Before you buy: a checklist
- Floor mix: if most of your home is carpet, weigh the absence of independent carpet testing against the owner report of declining carpet performance.
- Filter: ask for the named HEPA standard and test method rather than accepting the 99.97% figure as an independent result.
- Handling: check the 8.5 kg weight, 7 m cord and telescopic wand against your stairs, storage space and room layout.
- Emptying: the 3 L bin is a fixed capacity, and one owner reported frequent emptying. Consider how much dust and pet hair your home produces.
- Warranty and returns: the listed warranty is one year from the manufacturer. Confirm the retailer’s return terms in writing before purchase, particularly given the warranty dispute in one review.
- Comparison: measure other barrel vacuums against the same points, using the same independent evidence where it exists.
