Will it fit an existing cut-out?
Westinghouse lists the cooktop’s overall dimensions as 590 mm wide × 520 mm deep × 51 mm high, with a required cut-out of 560 × 490 mm. Measure the benchtop opening rather than relying on the rounded 60 cm category, and check the clearances and installation instructions for your kitchen.

Before buying, compare your measurements with the WHI643BD manual and dimension sheet. A matching cut-out does not by itself confirm that all required clearances or installation conditions are met.
What pan sizes work on each zone?
Westinghouse lists four fixed zones with different diameters and power ratings. CHOICE lists minimum usable pan diameters for three zone positions, so check both the manufacturer’s layout and those minimums against the pans you use most often.

The diameters and power figures come from Westinghouse; the minimum usable pan diameters are listed on CHOICE’s model page. Since the retrieved CHOICE information does not map each minimum to a named zone, do not assume a particular minimum belongs to a particular position. Confirm that your cookware is induction-compatible as well as appropriately sized.
What electrical installation does it require?
Westinghouse specifies a 6.5 kW connected load and a hardwired connection. This is not specified as a plug-in replacement. Ask a qualified electrician to check your circuit capacity, wiring and applicable local requirements before purchase or installation; do not assume an existing cooktop circuit is suitable.

How strong is the review evidence?
