Will it fit your bench and electrical setup?
Check the cutout separately from the cooktop size
The overall cooktop measures 590 × 520 mm, while the stated bench cutout is 560 × 490 mm. Measure the existing opening rather than assuming a nominal 60cm appliance will fit. Confirm the available clearance and installation requirements with the current installation documentation or a qualified installer before buying.

Confirm the hardwired connection and load
Westinghouse lists a 6.5 kW connected load and a hardwired connection. Check the suitability of the existing circuit and connection with a licensed electrician; do not assume it can use a standard plug or that an existing cooktop circuit is adequate.
Controls, indicators and manufacturer-listed features
The fact sheet lists residual-heat warning lamps and a hot-surface indicator. Westinghouse’s New Zealand product page additionally lists nine power levels, an easy-clean ceramic surface, a 2.3 kW powerful zone and an auto thermal cutout safety switch. These are manufacturer-stated features, not independent findings about ease of cleaning, temperature control or safety performance.
