For the weekend of October 17, 2026, the clearest PC bargains are Halo: The Master Chief Collection at $9.99 (75% off through October 19) and Blue Prince at $17.99 (40% off). 007 First Light is part of the Steam Autumn Sale, but its current price should be checked on the live store page before buying. A discounted three-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate voucher is another route if you prefer rotating library access to owning one game.

| Blue Prince | $17.99, 40% off | Reported in the October 9, 2026 weekend-deals roundup; confirm the live listing before purchase | Steam | Players looking for a lower-priced indie game with an unusual puzzle-focused premise |
| 007 First Light | Included in the 2026 Steam Autumn Sale; a consistently verified October 17 price is unavailable | Sale inclusion confirmed; check the live storefront for the end date and price | Steam | Players who specifically want a newer James Bond adventure |

Why Halo MCC is the weekend’s standout value
Steam lists Halo: The Master Chief Collection at $9.99, down 75% from $39.99, with the offer ending October 19, 2026. The package includes six games: Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4.

Across those releases, Steam counts 67 campaign missions. That makes the discount especially compelling for anyone who wants a long, campaign-first purchase rather than a single short title. Steam describes it as “The series that changed console gaming forever … on PC with six blockbuster games in one epic experience.”

- Players who have never played the main Halo campaigns on PC.
- Friends who want several co-op campaigns in one license.
- Fans who prefer a proven shooter bundle over a newer, unpriced sale title.
What to check before checkout
- Confirm that the $9.99 price and October 19 end date are still displayed in your region.
- Allow storage and download time for six games; you do not need to install every campaign at once.
- Check each game’s multiplayer and campaign options in the collection if you are buying for a specific mode.
Blue Prince: the cheaper indie alternative
Blue Prince is listed at $17.99, 40% off in Shacknews’ October 9, 2026 weekend PC download-deals report. At that price it is the lower-cost, single-game alternative to Halo’s large compilation. The discount is most relevant to players who want an indie experience rather than six established shooter campaigns.

Because the cited report predates this October 17 weekend, open the current Steam listing and verify both the price and sale timer before paying. The reported figure is a useful comparison point, not a guarantee that the promotion remains unchanged.
007 First Light: sale inclusion confirmed, price not
007 First Light appears in coverage of the 2026 Steam Autumn Sale. The available information confirms that it is included, but does not establish one consistently verified October 17 price. Do not rely on a headline figure from an earlier sale post: check the live Steam page, your region, and the displayed sale end time.

When it makes sense over the other deals
Choose it when a Bond-focused, newer release matters more to you than Halo’s campaign-per-dollar ratio or Blue Prince’s lower indie price. If you are comparing purely on confirmed value today, Halo is the only offer here with a verified price, percentage discount and fixed expiration date.
Ownership versus subscription access
A related Xbox Game Pass deal guide reported discounted three-month Ultimate vouchers. This is a different kind of bargain: you pay for a period of catalog access rather than permanently adding one discounted Steam license to your library. Check the voucher’s region, activation deadline, renewal behavior and eligible catalog before purchasing. It is most suitable if you expect to sample several games during the subscription period.

How to choose in under a minute
- Want the most content for a confirmed price? Buy Halo MCC at $9.99 before October 19, provided the Steam checkout still shows the offer.
- Want an indie game under $20? Check Blue Prince’s live listing against the reported $17.99 price.
- Want James Bond specifically? Open the current 007 First Light sale page and verify its exact regional price before deciding.
- Want a rotating library? Compare a discounted three-month Game Pass Ultimate voucher with the number of games you expect to play; cancel or disable renewal if the voucher terms require it.
Important sale checks
- Digital prices can differ by country, tax and currency conversion.
- Sale timers and voucher terms can change after a deal report is published.
- Steam discounts apply to the listed edition; confirm whether you are buying the complete package or an individual add-on.
- For 007 First Light and Blue Prince, treat the live storefront as authoritative because the cited reports do not provide a guaranteed October 17 price.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
