PlayStation’s Player’s Choice sale is back for a second weekend, giving shoppers who missed last week another opportunity to buy discounted digital games. The strongest listed cuts include SAROS for $49.69 (29% off), Marathon for $23.99 (40% off), Demon’s Souls for $17.49 (75% off), and LEGO Marvel Collection for $8.99 (85% off). Xbox and Nintendo Switch storefronts also have substantial discounts, while PlayStation Plus members can claim three monthly games at no extra charge.
PlayStation Player’s Choice: the second-chance sale
The Player’s Choice promotion is the centerpiece of this weekend’s roundup. It is an all-user PlayStation Store sale, so a PlayStation Plus subscription is not required to purchase the discounted titles. Prices are digital-store prices and can differ by region, edition, platform generation or when the promotion ends.

Claiming a game is different from buying it permanently: access follows the service’s eligibility rules.

How to choose before buying
- Confirm the storefront. A discount on PlayStation, Xbox or Switch does not transfer between platforms.
- Check eligibility. Player’s Choice and the general Xbox and Switch lists are purchase offers; PlayStation Plus monthly games and Xbox Game Pass discounts depend on subscriptions.
- Verify the edition and generation. Deluxe editions can include different content, and Switch 2 labels identify current-generation versions.
- Check the live price and sale deadline. The figures above are the listed prices for the Oct. 16 roundup; storefront prices, taxes and availability can change.
- Compare ownership with access. A purchased download remains tied to the account under the platform’s rules, while a monthly or subscription entitlement requires continued eligibility.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
