Jeeves accounted for the largest listed deal: a $110 million equity round led by CoinFund. Chilean retail-AI startup Alteria also raised an angel investment, but its amount was not disclosed in the roundup.
How much did Latin American startups raise in Week 40?
Techloy’s October 2 roundup puts disclosed funding at $110.4 million for the week. That is Techloy’s tally, not a complete census of every financing in the region: the surfaced deal details do not disclose an Alteria investment amount that would allow readers to reconstruct the total independently. The available figures also do not provide a standardized independent measure of all Latin American startup funding for that week. One weekly roundup should not be read as evidence of a longer-term regional trend. Techloy’s Week 40 roundup.

Who led Jeeves’s $110 million round?
Jeeves announced the $110 million equity financing on September 29, 2026; CoinFund separately described it as a $110 million C1 equity financing and confirmed that it led the round. Jeeves named AllianceBernstein, Andreessen Horowitz, Coinbase Ventures, CRV, GIC, Global PayTech Ventures, ParaFi, Vista, Wintermute, and Y Combinator among the participants. Neither the company announcement nor CoinFund’s account states a valuation for the 2026 round. Jeeves’s announcement distributed by PR Newswire; CoinFund’s announcement.

What the lead investor said
CoinFund managing partner and head of venture investments David Pakman said its rationale was Jeeves’s distribution among companies operating across Latin America, the United States, and Europe, alongside its technology and adoption. That is the lead investor’s explanation for the financing, not an independent assessment of the company’s market position.

How the 2026 round differs from Jeeves’s earlier valuation
Jeeves announced a $57 million Series B at a $500 million valuation in September 2021, led by CRV. That valuation belongs to the 2021 round; it is not a stated valuation for the 2026 financing. The older announcement’s product and geographic descriptions are also historical, not a current account of where Jeeves operates. Jeeves’s September 2021 Series B announcement.
What does Jeeves do, and what is it announcing?
Jeeves describes itself as a cross-border corporate-finance platform for businesses. Its September 2026 announcement lists corporate cards, accounts payable, treasury payments, spend management, and financial automation among its offerings. The company says its new proprietary stablecoin wallet supports payouts to 190 countries, and that availability of its stablecoin card offering is expanding from 25 to 35 countries. Those are company-reported product and reach claims as of the announcement date, not an independent audit of service availability.
The announcement also reports more than $5 billion in annualized total platform volume and $1.5 billion in annualized stablecoin-settled activity. These are company-reported operating figures, not audited financial results. Jeeves founder and CEO Dileep Thazhmon described stablecoin rails as a way to move money across countries at the speed and cost of domestic transactions; that is the company’s product thesis, not independently established evidence of comparative cost or speed.
Which other Latin American startup raised money that week?
Techloy reported that Chilean retail-technology startup Alteria secured an angel investment of undisclosed size. The roundup put the company’s valuation at $3 million and described an AI assistant that gives retail staff and shoppers product details such as technical specifications, prices, compatibility, and store-level stock. These company and deal details are attributed to Techloy’s report; no financing amount was stated.
Rank #3
Techloy also reported that Alteria had around 10 clients across more than 100 stores, mainly in hardware, technology, and cosmetics. According to the roundup, the company planned to focus on Chile before potential expansion into Peru, Colombia, and Mexico, and targeted $1 million in annual recurring revenue by mid-2027. These are reported client, expansion, and target figures, not independently verified outcomes.
