Webflow’s free Starter plan is enough to experiment or publish a small site on a Webflow subdomain, but it is not a substitute for a custom-domain Site plan. For a static site, Basic costs $15 per month with yearly billing or $25 month to month. If you need Webflow CMS, Premium costs $25 per month yearly or $39 month to month. Workspace plans are separate: they cover staging and team collaboration, not custom-domain hosting. Prices are in USD, before applicable taxes; actual totals can also depend on bandwidth, seats, add-ons, and account migration timing.
Webflow plan prices at a glance
Webflow separates Site plans, which provide publishing and hosting for an individual site, from Workspace plans, which provide staging and collaboration features. The current Site plan choices are Starter, Basic, and Premium. These figures are per site per month unless noted otherwise.

Is Webflow’s free plan enough?
Starter is a reasonable fit while you can use a webflow.io address and your site stays within two static pages, 50 CMS items, and 1,000 monthly visits. It is useful for trying the platform or keeping a very small staged site online. If you need a custom domain, more pages, or features included only in a paid plan, move to a paid Site plan.
Those free-plan limits are separate constraints: staying under the visit cap does not increase the page allowance, for example. Check which limit your project is approaching rather than treating “free” as unlimited hosting.
When should you choose Basic or Premium?
Choose Basic for a static site and custom domain
Basic is intended for sites that do not use Webflow CMS or ecommerce features. It includes custom-domain publishing, up to 300 static pages, and 10 GB of monthly bandwidth. It is the straightforward paid choice for a brochure site or other primarily static project that has outgrown Starter.
Choose Premium when you need Webflow CMS
Premium is the CMS-capable plan. It includes 20,000 CMS items and 40 Collections, along with 300 static pages and 50 GB of base monthly bandwidth. A blog with dynamic posts or a portfolio with CMS-managed entries are typical reasons to select it. Premium also includes features added in the 2026 plan change, including file uploads in forms, well-known files, and faster search indexing, according to Webflow’s plan-change details.
Webflow describes Basic as intended for sites without CMS or ecommerce; check the current plan description if your project needs ecommerce, since the listed Basic and Premium details here do not establish a full ecommerce plan comparison.
What happened to the CMS and Business plans?
Webflow’s 2026 lineup combines the former CMS and Business Site plans into Premium. For former CMS subscribers, Webflow says the included limits increase from 2,000 to 20,000 CMS items, from 20 to 40 Collections, and from 150 to 300 static pages. Former Business subscribers get 20,000 CMS items, but the included base bandwidth falls from 100 GB to 50 GB. These are Webflow’s stated plan changes, not a guarantee that every existing account has migrated on the same date.
The change can affect the total bill, especially for a Business site with substantial bandwidth use. Webflow’s own yearly-billed examples show a former Business site using 150 GB moving from a $39 base price plus a $20 bandwidth add-on ($59 total) to a $25 base price plus a $40 add-on ($65 total). Its 500 GB example remains $199 per month after migration. These are illustrative Webflow scenarios, not personalized quotes; see its migration and bandwidth examples.

When do existing Webflow sites move to the new pricing?
Webflow says new Site-plan purchases moved to the new lineup on May 13, 2026. For most existing sites, migration applies at renewal or a billable change on or after June 29, 2026. Sites in Freelancer or Agency Workspaces, and sites on legacy pricing, have a later stated threshold: renewal or a billable change on or after November 16, 2026. Webflow says existing CMS and Business sites are migrated automatically when the change applies.

A Site plan determines the publishing and hosting capabilities of one site. A Workspace plan is for staging and team workflow. A Workspace upgrade does not, by itself, add a custom domain or replace a paid Site plan.
| Workspace option | Price listed | Relevant staging or collaboration details |
|---|---|---|
| Starter Workspace | Free | Two unhosted staging sites; each staged site has two static pages and 50 CMS items |
| Core | $19/month with yearly billing | 10 staging sites |
| Growth | $49/month with yearly billing | Unlimited staging sites and more access and publishing controls |
Webflow lists Workspace pricing on its pricing page and describes Workspace capabilities in its Workspace guidance. The listed Core and Growth prices are yearly-billing rates; monthly prices are not stated here. Consider a Workspace upgrade when staging capacity, roles, access, or publishing controls are the problem—not when you need to publish a site on a custom domain.
How bandwidth and billing change the real cost
The yearly-billed price is lower than the monthly-billed price for both Basic and Premium, but a lower base price does not necessarily mean a lower total. Premium includes 50 GB per month before any bandwidth add-ons. Webflow says add-ons can apply based on usage; check the site’s usage history and the applicable add-on pricing before changing plans.

Quick Recap
A practical upgrade decision
- Stay on Starter if the webflow.io address, two-page limit, 50 CMS-item cap, and visit allowance fit your project.
- Move to Basic if you need custom-domain publishing and a static site without CMS or ecommerce features.
- Move to Premium if you need Webflow CMS or the related included capacity and features.
- Check bandwidth before upgrading or migrating by reviewing actual usage and the plan’s base allowance plus any add-on charges.
- Upgrade Workspace separately if you need more staging sites or collaboration controls; it does not replace the Site plan.
- If you already have a legacy plan, check its renewal date, Workspace type, and billing-cycle changes before estimating the new amount.
