Web Hosting Hub is a conventional shared-hosting service with three entry-level plans: Spark, Nitro and Dynamo. The lowest rate on its homepage is $5.99 per month for Spark, but that is a displayed rate, not a guaranteed monthly charge, and the figure you actually pay depends on the term you select and what renewal costs. Spark is the only plan with a stated limit on websites and databases. Automated account backups cost extra on every plan, and the free migration offer has a size limit.
What the $5.99 price actually represents
The vendor’s homepage displays Spark at $5.99 per month, Nitro at $7.99 per month and Dynamo at $9.99 per month. Beside those figures it shows higher rates of $11.99, $15.49 and $20.49 per month. The site offers 1-, 2- and 3-year term selectors, and its daily-equivalent figure is calculated on a 36-month term. The pricing pages we reviewed do not make clear which term or condition each of the higher rates applies to, so do not treat any single number as your monthly bill.

Before buying, select the plan and term you want, and read the order summary before you enter payment details. The pricing page does not establish the renewal charge for every plan and term combination, so the cart is the only reliable place to confirm it.
Plan comparison
The table below uses the vendor’s official plan comparison. Where the vendor gives no figure for a cell, the cell says so.

Storage, bandwidth, email, SSL, SSD, a free domain, cPanel and SSH are listed on all three plans. The vendor describes all of these as unlimited where applicable, which is again subject to its terms of service.
Capacity by plan
The clearest practical difference between the plans is how many sites and databases each can run. Performance differences are described by the vendor, not measured here.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesSpark: one or two sites
Spark allows two websites and ten MySQL or PostgreSQL databases. It fits a single blog, a portfolio or a small brochure site, or two modest projects that do not need many databases. If you plan to add a third site or a larger application later, the stated limit will matter sooner than the price difference does.
Nitro: several sites and small business use
Nitro lifts the website and database caps and is positioned for small businesses that want better performance. It is the plan to compare against Spark if you expect to run more than two projects or host a store and a separate content site on one account.
Dynamo: the highest resource tier
Dynamo is the plan the vendor describes as offering the most resources and speed. Its listed allowances match Nitro’s, so the reason to choose it is the vendor’s resource and speed positioning, which we have not verified. Because the displayed price is $9.99 per month, compare it with Nitro’s $7.99 before deciding.
Backups are an extra cost
Automated complete cPanel account backup is a $1 per month add-on on all three plans. It is not part of the base price. Web Hosting Hub’s own guidance is direct on the point: “We always recommend you make your own backups frequently with our simple to use backup tool.” The quote is from the vendor’s site and is not attributed to a named person.

Rank #3
If you depend on being able to restore a site after a mistake or an attack, budget for the add-on and keep an independent copy of your files and databases. The add-on protects the account as a whole, but it does not replace your own schedule of copies.
Migration: free only within limits
The vendor’s blog-hosting material says cPanel and website transfers are free and carried out with zero downtime. That no-fee offer has a scope:
- It applies to cPanel accounts within 5GB, or accounts with three or fewer databases and/or websites.
- Larger requests may cost $10 for each additional item.
Confirm your account’s size and item count before you ask for a transfer. If your existing host holds more than three sites or databases, budget for the per-item charge, because the free offer does not cover the whole account.

Money-back guarantee
The vendor advertises a 90-day full money-back guarantee. This is the vendor’s stated policy, not a promise that every purchase qualifies. Eligibility and exclusions are set out in the current terms, which should be read before you buy if you expect to cancel early.
Support channels and hours
Spark includes live chat. Nitro and Dynamo include live chat and phone support. The vendor states that support is available 24/7/365. We have not measured response times or the quality of answers, so the availability claim is the vendor’s, not something we tested.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Features included on every plan
All three plans include cPanel, SSH, a free domain, SSL, SSD storage and unlimited email. The vendor also includes BoldGrid, which it describes as a free drag-and-drop website builder, and offers WordPress and PrestaShop auto-install options. These features are useful for beginners, and they are the same across tiers, so they should not influence the choice between plans.
Best Value
Before you pay: a checklist
- Pick the plan, then pick the term. Compare the monthly equivalent for each term you consider.
- Read the amount due today and the renewal price shown in the order summary.
- Count your websites and databases. If you need more than two sites or ten databases, Spark is the wrong plan.
- Decide whether you will pay the $1 per month backup add-on or run your own backups.
- If you are moving an existing site, check whether it falls within the 5GB or three-item free-transfer limit.
- Read the current terms for the 90-day money-back guarantee if you may cancel early.
What this review does not establish
No uptime figure or independently measured speed result is available for Web Hosting Hub in the material we relied on, so we are not ranking its performance against other hosts. The independent TechRadar review of the service is older context. It covers automated backup limits and support, and its findings may no longer match the current plans. Treat it as background, not as a description of today’s offer.

Which plan to choose
- Spark suits a single small site or two modest projects, provided you accept the two-website and ten-database limit and handle backups yourself or pay the add-on.
- Nitro suits anyone who expects to run more sites or databases, or who wants the small-business positioning and phone support, and who can accept the $7.99 displayed rate as the starting point.
- Dynamo is worth the higher displayed price only if the vendor’s resource and speed positioning matters to you and you can verify it in your own tests; the listed allowances are the same as Nitro’s.
Whichever plan you choose, budget for the backup add-on or an independent backup routine, and check the renewal price in the cart before you pay.
