The lowest figure in that record is the roughly $169.99–$179.99 refurbished Origin offer, while the largest percentage reduction documented for new machines was 27%. A refurbished Origin is not the same purchase as a new Supersonic or Supersonic Nural, so comparing the numbers without comparing condition can be misleading.
What Dyson has said about Black Friday 2026
Dyson’s official Black Friday hair-dryer page states: “The countdown is on for Black Friday 2026.” The page lists November 27, 2026 as Black Friday and November 30, 2026 as Cyber Monday, but says the 2026 offers had not yet been revealed when checked on October 15, 2026.

That means a retailer advertisement, coupon or price appearing before the event needs to be checked at the retailer’s live product page. An old article, search snippet or cached price cannot establish that a deal is still available.
Which Dyson model is being discounted?
Supersonic
The original Supersonic is the model used in the 2024 $110-off report and in the 2025 reports of discounts up to $140 or 27%. Check the exact package before buying: attachment bundles and color editions can have different prices even when the product name looks identical.
Supersonic Nural
The Nural was included in Forbes Vetted’s 2025 report of 27% discounts. It is a separate generation from the original Supersonic, so a percentage discount does not by itself show that the two machines are equal in features, included accessories or list price.

The Origin appeared in Cleveland.com’s Walmart report as a refurbished machine. Its approximately $179.99 price—and the $169.99 figure mentioned in the same summary—was attractive because of the condition and retailer offer, not because it represented the normal price of a new Nural.
How to verify a legitimate deal
- Open the retailer’s current listing. Confirm that the product page shows the price in your country and that the item can actually be added to the cart.
- Match the model name. Look for “Supersonic,” “Supersonic Nural” or “Supersonic Origin,” and check whether the listing says new, refurbished or another condition.
- Read the included-attachments section. A lower price may reflect a smaller bundle or a different color edition.
- Check warranty and returns before paying. Refurbished products may have different coverage or return windows from new machines; use the terms shown on the live listing.
- Calculate the real discount. Compare the current price with the stated list price for that exact model and condition, not with an older article’s headline number.
- Save the order details. Keep the product page, seller name, condition description and promised delivery date in case the listing changes.
Why Dyson’s price-match policy will not solve every price gap
Dyson’s official price-match policy excludes hair-care machines, including the Supersonic, Airwrap, Corrale and Airstrait. A lower price at another retailer therefore does not automatically qualify for a Dyson price adjustment.
