The Waterdrop X12 and A2 are different kinds of reverse-osmosis systems: the X12 installs under a sink and feeds a dedicated faucet, while the A2 is a countertop dispenser with hot- and cold-water dispensing. Waterdrop has published offers for both product categories, but no official announcement in the available information verifies 2026 Black Friday prices, dates, coupon terms, or eligible models. Treat a listed offer as an ordinary deal unless Waterdrop’s event terms explicitly identify it as a Black Friday offer.
Is the Waterdrop X12 worth buying on Black Friday?
It may suit a household that wants a powered, tankless under-sink RO system and has room and plumbing access for installation. Whether it is a good Black Friday purchase depends on the verified total price, included bundle, shipping, and replacement-filter costs—not the sale label alone.

Waterdrop’s indexed US pages show ordinary offers, including an X12 bundle, but they do not confirm a 2026 Black Friday event. A historical Waterdrop press release distributed through PR Newswire reported an X12 Black Friday/Cyber Monday price of $899 against a stated regular price of $1,299 in 2025. That past offer is not a 2026 price promise: Waterdrop’s historical offer announcement.

Choose the X12 if you want an under-sink installation
The X12 keeps the main system beneath the counter and supplies a dedicated faucet. Consider cabinet space, access to the necessary plumbing and power, installation requirements, and the amount of filtered water your household draws. Its tankless format is distinct from the A2’s countertop reservoir.
Choose the A2 if countertop dispensing fits better
The A2 avoids an under-sink system installation and provides hot and cold dispensing from a countertop unit. Check that you have counter space and can accommodate its water tank and routine refilling. It is a different convenience trade-off from a dedicated faucet connected to an under-sink system.

Do not confuse the A2 with the A2G
The A2G is a separate model. Waterdrop lists it with remineralization, a portable pure-water tank, and different filtration and storage details. Confirm that a listing is specifically for the A2 before comparing its price or ordering a filter: the A2 uses the A2RF-RO filter, not the A2G’s A2RFG.
How much does the Waterdrop A2 filter cost?
A current verified price for the A2RF-RO filter is not stated in the available product information, so check the live replacement-filter listing before calculating ownership cost. Waterdrop identifies WD-A2RF-RO as compatible with the A2 and states a 12-month life of up to 528 gallons; actual service life can vary with water quality: Waterdrop A2 filter information.

For the X12, Waterdrop lists three filter elements—F1A, F2, and X12-F3—with stated replacement intervals of 12, 6, and 24 months, respectively. Check the current price of each exact replacement model and include them in your annual-cost estimate: Waterdrop X12 filter information.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Confirm the filter model printed on the product listing; A2, A2G, and X12 filters are not interchangeable based on the model names alone.
- Compare the cost of the filters needed over the period you expect to own the system, not just the initial purchase price.
- Treat stated filter life as a manufacturer estimate; water quality can affect replacement timing.
How to compare a Black Friday offer fairly
- Identify the exact model and bundle, including the filter set and faucet or dispenser included.
- Check whether the offer is explicitly included in Waterdrop’s Black Friday event terms, and note the offer dates and any coupon or stacking conditions.
- Calculate the checkout total for your shipping location, including delivery charges and any required add-ons.
- Compare that total with the regular price stated for the same model and bundle. Do not use the 2025 X12 promotion as proof of a current discount.
- Add the expected replacement-filter expense using the compatible model names and Waterdrop’s stated intervals.
Waterdrop’s X12 listing is available here: X12 product offer page. A product offer page is not, by itself, confirmation of a Black Friday promotion.
