There is no verified evidence in the available reporting that a mission involving a pet tiger was pitched for Grand Theft Auto VI. The sources reviewed do not identify who supposedly made the pitch or point to an original interview, document, or other primary source. That leaves the claim unverified—not proof that the pitch never happened.
What is known about the pet tiger claim?
No reviewed source establishes that a pet tiger mission was proposed for GTA 6. Without an identifiable speaker or original account, the claim cannot be treated as a confirmed detail about the game or its development.

There are no substantiated competing versions of the pitch to compare. In particular, the available reporting does not provide enough information to say what the mission would involve, who proposed it, or whether it was ever seriously considered.
Why attribution matters in GTA 6 reporting
Coverage of Rockstar interviews can include both developers’ on-record comments and a journalist’s description or interpretation of those comments. MapHeist’s analysis of a Dazed feature discusses that distinction; it does not confirm the tiger claim. A description in an article, a developer’s direct statement, and an unsupported rumor are different kinds of evidence.

GamesRadar+ reported on a LOVE Magazine interview with Rupert Humphries, Rockstar’s senior vice president of narrative. Humphries said, “We didn’t want to make any kind of statement with Jason’s backstory.” That remark concerns Jason’s characterization. It does not refer to a pet tiger mission and should not be read as support for the claim.
