Warota: I Live Next to The Demon King’s Castle LOL is a village-building action RPG from Team EARTH WARS and publisher One or Eight. Its announced Steam Early Access date is caught between November 12 and November 13, 2026: the canonical announcement and two media reports use November 12, while the official website banner and Gematsu report November 13. Because the difference is likely a time-zone or publisher scheduling discrepancy, check the live Steam listing immediately before launch.
What Warota is
Warota combines settlement management with action-RPG combat. You play a reincarnated “Bounder” who possesses the power of creation in Luna, a ruined world ruled by an idol Demon King. The initial loop is practical and dangerous: repair a home, gather materials, craft furniture and facilities, recruit villagers, assign their work, explore the surrounding world and fight monsters.
The Steam listing describes a single-player game with Steam achievements, Steam Cloud, family sharing and full controller support. The developers recommend using a controller. More than 30 buildings are listed for construction, although the final scope may change during Early Access.

The safest practical answer is that Warota is scheduled for the November 12–13 window, depending on the publisher’s release timing and your region. Steam still showed the game as “Coming soon” at the time of the announcement, so neither date should be treated as a completed launch until the store page changes to a purchase or play option.
What is included in Early Access
One or Eight and Team EARTHWARS say they expect Early Access to last approximately one year. The Steam FAQ says the build contains the core village-building, crafting, exploration and combat systems, with playable content through the “Platina Chapter.” Planned work during the period includes balance changes, better controls, polishing of core systems, and additional content and features.

That makes the first release a substantial playable foundation rather than a short technology preview, but it is not the finished 1.0 version. Progression, balance and systems can change as player feedback from the earlier closed and open beta tests is incorporated.
How the village and combat systems connect
Build and staff the settlement
Gathered resources are used for facilities, furniture and other structures. Recruited villagers can be assigned jobs, turning the settlement into the production base that supports exploration. The developers also plan further improvements to villager work and daily-life systems during Early Access.

Defend against Demon King concerts
The Demon King’s live concerts trigger waves of frenzied monsters that attack the village. These events connect settlement preparation with combat: the buildings, villagers and role choices you develop are also preparation for sudden defenses.
Demo: what you can play now
A free Steam demo released October 7, 2026. Its description estimates roughly two to three hours to reach the first boss and includes the opening story, village construction, crafting, facility building, hat-based class changes, Demon King Live battles and Goddess’s Blessings.

The demo announcement also highlights a fully vocal performance for Demon King Platina Goldcaster’s Live event. Combat was overhauled so non-combat jobs, including tailors and ranchers, can fight, while villager work and daily-life systems were rebalanced. Those changes make the demo a useful way to test both the management and action sides before buying into Early Access.

GameDaily and Capsule Computers reported a $24.99 launch price with a 10% discount through November 20, 2026. That is a launch announcement, not a guaranteed permanent price, and the Steam page was still marked “Coming soon” when reported.

No physical console edition or final system-requirements set was established in the announcements. The evidenced PC release is digital through Steam.

- Settlement-management fans: building facilities, assigning villagers and gathering resources are central rather than optional side activities.
- Action-RPG players: exploration, boss progression, role changes and concert-triggered monster waves provide regular combat goals.
- Players who want flexibility: hats and combinable Goddess Blessings support switching jobs and combat styles.
- Early Access participants: the approximately one-year development window is explicitly intended for balancing, control improvements and new features.
The main caution is maturity: systems and content can change, and the final release is planned for 2027 on consoles after the PC Early Access period.
