Walmart’s Fall Deals event started October 5, 2026, at 12 a.m. ET, and coverage says it runs through October 11, online and in stores. The one product the official page confirmed for us is an INSE V770 cordless stick vacuum at $54.99, shown against a former price of $259.99. We couldn’t verify a full list of TV or toy offers, so this guide tells you what is confirmed and how to judge any deal before you buy.
When do Walmart Fall Deals start and end?
Walmart’s official Fall Deals page says “All the good stuff, 10/5 at 12am ET.” NBC Select reports the sale runs October 5 through October 11 and is available online and in stores. USA Today also covers the dates and categories. The sale is already underway, and offers can change, so check the live page before you buy.

How you can shop it
Walmart says you can compare online, app and in-store shopping, and it mentions pickup, delivery and shipping. Which options you get depends on the item and your location. A TV may be pickup-only at your store while a toy ships from a third-party seller, so check this on each item page.
What’s confirmed in each category
Vacuums
When the official page was accessed, it listed the INSE V770 cordless stick vacuum at $54.99, with $259.99 as the former price. Those are Walmart’s displayed prices, not an independently verified price history. A “was” price this far above the sale price deserves a second look. Compare it with what similar cordless sticks sell for, and confirm stock and the seller.

What “up to 40% off” means
Walmart’s home-upgrades section advertises “up to 40% off.” That is a ceiling for that section. It isn’t a discount on every TV, vacuum or toy, and many items will be reduced by less or not at all.

How to check a deal before you buy
| Check | TVs | Vacuums | Toys |
|---|---|---|---|
| Specs to record | Screen size, panel type, resolution, refresh rate, smart-TV platform | Type, runtime, included tools, floor suitability | Age guidance, piece count, dimensions |
| Long-term cost | Exact model number, so you can compare it elsewhere | Replacement filter and battery availability | Missing or extra parts the listing mentions |
| Always confirm | Exact model, current price against a credible recent price, seller (Walmart or a marketplace seller), stock, pickup or delivery date, and return terms | ||
- Only rely on spec details that the product page itself states.
- Check the “sold by” and “fulfilled by” lines. Marketplace sellers can have different return rules.
- Note that a low-cost vacuum from a lesser-known brand has little track record. Read reviews that mention battery life and filters.
Walmart’s own wording
Walmart’s page says the event “helps you save on seasonal essentials, everyday favorites, and fall must-haves with clear event timing, category inspiration, and convenient ways to shop.” That is marketing copy, and it doesn’t promise any particular deal.
