VPNs for Las Vegas, Nevada in 2026: Which Providers Offer a Las Vegas Server and How to Choose

Two VPN providers currently state on their own official pages that they offer a Las Vegas location: Windscribe and Surfshark. If you need a Las Vegas IP address specifically, those are the two providers this guide can name with a confirmed local endpoint. We have not verified a ranking of five providers for Las Vegas, so this article does not present a numbered “top five.” Independent, dated tests of Las Vegas performance and streaming for five named services are not available, and a list built on them would overstate what can be checked. Instead, this guide explains what a Las Vegas server does and does not give you, which providers currently advertise one, and what to verify before you pay.

Which VPNs advertise a Las Vegas server

The table below compares the two providers with an explicit Las Vegas claim. Every entry is taken from the provider’s own marketing pages unless another source is named. Cells marked “not stated” mean the page we checked did not give that detail.

Provider Las Vegas location Local-IP claim Privacy and audit information Streaming evidence Price and renewal terms
Windscribe Yes. Its official Nevada and Las Vegas pages say users can select a Las Vegas location. Presented as a local-IP use case on the official pages. Privacy policy and network statements are provider claims, not independent verification. Not stated for Las Vegas. No dated streaming test was cited. Not stated in this guide. Check the live checkout page before buying.
Surfshark Yes. Its official Las Vegas page describes Las Vegas servers. The page says Las Vegas servers provide a local US IP. The page points to independent audit material. The audit’s auditor, date, and scope are not confirmed here. Not stated for Las Vegas specifically. No dated test cited. Not stated in this guide. Check the live checkout page before buying.

Windscribe

Windscribe’s official Nevada and Las Vegas pages describe selecting a Las Vegas location for a local US IP. The provider also makes privacy and global-network claims on its marketing pages. Those are statements from the company and should be read as such until an independent party has examined them.

Surfshark

Surfshark’s official Las Vegas page says its Las Vegas servers give a local US IP and links to independent audit material. A linked audit is a useful starting point, but the page alone does not tell you what the audit covered or when it was performed. Open the report and check those details yourself. Nothing we reviewed shows that Surfshark performs better in Las Vegas than elsewhere in the US.

What a Las Vegas server does for you

A server in Las Vegas gives your connection a Las Vegas-area IP address. That is useful when a service, local news site, or regional offer relies on IP location. It does not guarantee access. Platforms set their own rules, and many block known VPN addresses, so a local server can work one week and fail the next.

How to evaluate a Las Vegas VPN

Confirm the Las Vegas endpoint in the app

A marketing page is not the same as a live server list. Before subscribing, confirm that the app itself lists a Las Vegas or Nevada server. Server names and locations change, so check again after you subscribe.

Read the no-logs claim against the audit

“No logs” is a claim about what a provider records. Whether it holds up depends on who checked it, when, and what they examined. Keep these categories separate:

  • Written policy review: the auditor reads the privacy policy and compares it with company statements. It does not show how servers behave in practice.
  • Infrastructure examination: the auditor inspects live servers and the systems that handle connection data. This is a narrower and more demanding check.
  • Scope and date: an audit covers specific apps, servers, or periods. An audit of one platform does not confirm the behaviour of every app.

Proton VPN’s official announcement describes a recurring external no-logs audit and links to a 2026 report. Read the report itself before repeating its findings. Proton is not one of the two providers with a confirmed Las Vegas location in this guide.

Performance: look for dated, documented tests

Marketing speed claims and server counts do not show how a connection will perform from Las Vegas. Use independent reviews that state their test dates, test locations, and methods. RTINGS publishes a broad VPN ranking and its own methodology, and TechRadar describes how it tests VPNs and where providers trade off speed, privacy, and features. Check each review’s publication date before relying on it, since results change when providers update their networks.

Streaming: expect changing results

Streaming compatibility depends on whether a service currently blocks the VPN’s IP addresses. TechRadar notes that streaming behaviour changes over time. A provider that unblocked a service last year may not do so today. Treat any streaming promise as temporary, and test the specific service you need within your refund window.

Price and renewal terms

This guide does not publish checkout prices because they change frequently. When you compare providers, record the introductory price, the renewal price, the billing period, the refund window and conditions, the device limit, and any geographic restrictions shown at checkout on the day you buy. Renewal prices often differ sharply from introductory offers.

Match the provider to your need

Choose based on what matters most to you. If a Las Vegas IP is the main requirement, the two providers above are the starting point. If audit transparency is the priority, check the audit’s scope before weighing a provider’s claims. If streaming is the priority, check current independent tests and plan to test during a refund period.

Other sources to check

A Cybernews comparison focused on Nevada treats local or nearby IP availability, independent audits, streaming, logging, and price as decision criteria. It is a useful checklist for building your own shortlist, though it is not a substitute for checking each provider’s current server list and terms. RTINGS also notes that Windscribe’s free tier is limited for heavy use or streaming, so a free plan may not suit those needs.

Before you subscribe

  1. Open the provider’s official website and find its Las Vegas or Nevada page. Note exactly what it promises.
  2. In the app, open the server list and search for “Las Vegas.” If it is not listed, choose the nearest US city shown and do not assume a Las Vegas IP.
  3. Connect to the Las Vegas server, then check the IP address with a public geolocation lookup. Note the city it reports.
  4. Find the provider’s linked audit, if any. Record the auditor, the date, and what the audit covered.
  5. Read the checkout terms and record the renewal price, billing period, refund conditions, and device limit.
  6. Test the specific sites or services you need during the refund window.

If something does not work

  • The lookup shows a different city: geolocation databases are not always accurate. Reconnect to the server, then try another Las Vegas or nearby server. If the problem persists, ask the provider’s support team which location the server uses.
  • A service blocks the connection: the block may apply to the VPN’s IP range and is not necessarily caused by your app settings. Try a different server, and if the service still fails, consider a refund under the provider’s policy.
  • The Las Vegas option is missing: the provider may have changed its server list. Check the provider’s current page before subscribing, and do not rely on an older review.
