Private Internet Access (PIA) is advertising a reported Halloween promotion that bundles 26 months of VPN service for less than $50. TechRadar reported the offer on 15 October 2026 as 24 months plus two bonus months, equivalent to $1.89 per month for the full term, compared with a regular comparison rate of $2.19 per month.
That price is tied to a time-limited promotion, and the exact expiration date is not published in the sources available. Check the live checkout total, term and renewal details before paying.

What the Halloween offer includes
The promoted product is a digital VPN subscription, not a router, boxed software package or other physical item. TechRadar’s 15 October report describes a two-year PIA plan discounted to under $50 for 24 months, with two additional months included. At the reported effective rate, 26 months cost about $49.14 before any taxes or checkout-specific adjustments.

Why the live checkout may show a different deal
PIA’s official order page displayed a separate fall-sale structure at the time of review: three years plus three additional months at $1.79 per month. That does not invalidate the Halloween offer reported by TechRadar; it indicates that campaign pricing can change by date, landing page or account eligibility. If the 26-month package is no longer shown, do not assume the alternative offer has identical terms. Compare the total, included months and renewal language on the page you actually use.
PIA says all amounts on its order page are shown in U.S. dollars and that discounts are calculated against current monthly service pricing of $11.95 per month. Currency conversion, taxes and any regional checkout adjustments can affect the final amount outside the United States.

Renewal: the price after the promotional term
PIA’s official order page states that plans auto-renew. The reported Halloween price therefore should be treated as an introductory, prepaid term rather than a permanent subscription rate. The sources do not establish the exact renewal amount or renewal interval for this specific 26-month package.

What to check before submitting payment
- Confirm that the order summary says 26 months, or clearly lists 24 months plus two bonus months.
- Record the upfront total in U.S. dollars and check whether tax is added.
- Expand the renewal or billing section and note the next charge, renewal period and cancellation deadline.
- Save the confirmation email and the account page showing the subscription end date.
PIA’s quoted $11.95 monthly service price is the discount reference on its order page, not necessarily the amount that will be charged when this particular promotion renews. Read the renewal disclosure attached to your transaction.

Refund protection and where you buy matters
New subscribers who purchase through PIA’s website receive a 30-day money-back guarantee, according to PIA’s official order information. Purchases made through an app store follow that store’s refund rules instead, so the website guarantee should not be assumed to apply to an in-app transaction.
For the strongest record of the promotional term and its refund conditions, review the final website order summary before completing payment. Keep in mind that a refund request may end service and remove access to the account or bonus period.

How many devices can use one subscription?
PIA support says website subscriptions allow an unlimited number of devices to be connected simultaneously. That policy concerns concurrent device connections under one subscription; it does not mean every device platform, account-sharing arrangement or third-party app store purchase has identical terms. Check the service’s current usage rules if you plan to deploy it across a household or office.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteServer coverage shown in the available listings
PIA’s official order page showed 154 server locations at the time it was reviewed. TechRadar’s October report described more than 160 server locations and mentioned 22 new streaming-optimized servers. These figures come from different page snapshots and may reflect updates, counting methods or regional displays, so they should not be treated as a single fixed total.

Can existing subscribers get the extra months?
Not necessarily. PIA support warns that upgrade promotions or bonus months may not apply to every existing-customer upgrade. A current subscriber should sign in and inspect the upgrade screen’s exact term and price rather than assuming the new-customer Halloween bundle will attach to an existing account.
Eligibility checklist for current customers
- Check whether the offer is labeled for new subscriptions only.
- Verify whether your current plan is extended, replaced or left running separately.
- Confirm the number of bonus months before authorizing an upgrade charge.
- Review the resulting renewal date after the upgrade.
Is this a good buy?
For a new customer who wants a long prepaid VPN term, the reported $1.89 effective rate is straightforward: 26 months for under $50, with two months beyond the 24-month paid term. The decision depends on accepting automatic renewal and confirming the live offer, because the promotion’s end date and post-promotion renewal amount are not established in the available terms.
Existing customers should treat eligibility as a separate question, and anyone buying through an app store should evaluate that store’s refund policy rather than relying on PIA’s website guarantee.
Bottom line
The Halloween deal reported on 15 October 2026 is a 26-month PIA VPN subscription for under $50—24 paid months plus two free months—at an effective $1.89 per month. Before buying, verify that package on the live checkout page, read the auto-renewal disclosure, confirm whether you qualify, and save the order record. The exact sale deadline and renewal charge are not stated, so neither should be assumed.
