The stated and measured power figures are separate entries, not interchangeable measurements of cleaning performance. Wattage alone does not establish how well a vacuum removes dirt from a particular floor. The listed 1 L bin, weight and reach are more direct clues about storage, carrying and how often you may need to empty it.

Some individual owners praised its compact size, bagless emptying and use on carpet or hard flooring; one reported a failure within weeks and said a replacement also performed poorly. These are a small number of self-selected accounts, not controlled tests or a representative reliability rate. Treat them as clues about possible owner experiences, not a prediction of what a particular used unit will do.
Replacement filters and parts
A Big W listing identifies a genuine Electrolux filter kit for CompactGo U1232 and U1233, also named the Floorcare Exhaust Filter Kit F154. The listing says it contains a HEPA filter, foam filter and pre-motor filter with plastic cage. This supports the existence of a retailer-listed compatible kit, but does not establish that it is currently in stock or available from other retailers.

Before ordering, compare the vacuum’s model label with the listing and confirm compatibility and live availability with the seller. For other replacement parts, the available material does not establish current supply; check with Electrolux or a parts retailer using the exact U1233 model code.
Can you wash the filters?
Do not rely on owner replies or assumptions about filter material to decide whether to wash the black foam or HEPA filter. The Electrolux-hosted CompactGo cyclonic manual covers the Z1230/Z1232/Z1233 family, but care instructions should be checked against the documentation for the exact appliance and filter. Follow the relevant manufacturer directions before washing or brushing a filter; the product listing for the F154 kit does not itself establish a cleaning method.

What to know about overheating
The family manual says the thermal protector may activate and advises waiting 20–30 minutes for the motor to cool. This is family-level troubleshooting guidance for the Z1230/Z1232/Z1233 range, not a substitute for checking the exact U1233 manual. If the appliance stops during use, consult its documentation rather than repeatedly restarting it while hot.
What to check before buying a used U1233
Because CHOICE lists the model as discontinued, do not assume a new unit or every replacement part will be readily available. A used vacuum is best judged unit by unit; the published specifications and limited owner comments cannot establish the condition of the one for sale.
