On some TVs using VIZIO Home, owners report finding the setting under Extras and Home Page Settings, labeled Scenic Mode or, in some later reports, Vibe Setting.
First, check which device owns the screensaver
If the display appears while the TV is idle, it may be the TV’s built-in scenic display. If you are using a separate streaming device connected to the TV, the images may instead be controlled by that device. Android TV and Google TV have their own settings; their instructions do not describe VIZIO’s built-in menus.

| What you want to change | Where to look |
|---|---|
| VIZIO TV’s idle or scenic display | The model- and software-specific VIZIO TV settings and manual. |
| Screensaver from a connected Android TV device | That device’s Android TV settings. Available options vary by device; see Google’s Android TV help. |
| Ambient display from a connected Google TV device | That device’s Google TV settings. Google documents options including Google Photos and Art Gallery in its Google TV Ambient Mode help. |
Find your VIZIO model and its instructions
- Find the model number on the TV’s label or in the TV’s settings.
- Open VIZIO Support, locate support for your model, and open its user manual.
- Check the manual for the screensaver, scenic display, or idle-screen controls that apply to your TV and software.
This model-specific check matters because VIZIO’s support materials do not establish one current menu route or set of controls for every model.

Look for Scenic Mode on some VIZIO Home TVs
VIZIO community users report this route on some sets: open VIZIO Home, move left to Extras, open Home Page Settings, and look for Scenic Mode. Some later community replies use the label Vibe Setting. These are user-reported menu names and steps, not a verified universal procedure; availability and wording can differ by model or software update. The reports appear in a VIZIO community discussion about changing the screensaver.

Turn off the scenic display or adjust its sound
If you find Scenic Mode or a similar setting, inspect the options shown on your TV. Community reports describe controls for disabling the display and adjusting sound, but do not establish that every TV has the same controls. Use the options available on your model rather than relying on a label or setting from another VIZIO TV.

If the setting is missing
- Confirm the model number and check the manual for that exact model.
- Check the TV’s software version and whether you are looking in VIZIO Home or in the menu of a connected device.
- Try alternate terms such as Scenic Mode or Vibe Setting only as possible labels; terminology can change.
- If the manual and on-screen menus do not match, use VIZIO’s model-specific support rather than assuming the TV is faulty or following Android TV or Google TV steps on the VIZIO interface.
