Vivo’s new 8,000mAh phone is the vivo X500 Pro Max, but the available launch information confirms its China debut—not an official release in global markets. Vivo announced the X500 series in Shanghai on September 21, 2026, and set the Pro Max’s China sale date for September 24, starting at CNY 6,999. International countries, dates and prices have not been confirmed by vivo in the announcement.
What is vivo’s new 8,000mAh phone?
It is the vivo X500 Pro Max, one of three phones in the X500 series announced by vivo in Shanghai on September 21, 2026. Vivo lists an 8,000mAh Blue Ocean battery for the Pro Max. That is the manufacturer’s stated capacity, not a measured battery-life result; the announcement does not say how long the phone lasts in everyday use. Vivo’s launch announcement
