These are published platform and configuration specifications; they do not establish comparative real-world speed. The Y400 Pro parameter page says NFC is not supported; vivo lists NFC and eSIM support for the X300 FE. Check the specifications for the exact India variant and current software version before purchase.

The X300 FE provides more stated rear-camera focal coverage, including a dedicated telephoto and wide-angle camera; the Y400 Pro’s listed rear setup is a main camera plus a bokeh camera. That is a difference in hardware, not proof of better photos. No independent camera testing is established here. vivo advertises 4K recording on the Y400 Pro front and rear; the X300 FE parameter page lists 8K, 4K and 1080p recording. Those broad listings do not verify that every camera supports every resolution.

Ingress protection
The Y400 Pro is rated IP65; vivo notes that resistance may reduce over time. The X300 FE is rated IP68 and IP69, with its claims based on controlled tests. These ratings describe specified test conditions and do not mean either phone is permanently waterproof. Avoid treating an ingress rating as a guarantee against all water or dust damage.

Which vivo phone fits your priorities?
- Choose the Y400 Pro if you want a larger curved display and are shopping in its much lower India launch-price tier.
- Consider the X300 FE if a compact flat display, dedicated telephoto and wide-angle rear cameras, wireless charging, or higher published ingress-protection ratings matter enough to justify its higher launch-price tier.
- Compare current offers and exact variants before purchase; launch pricing and software details do not establish what is available today.
