The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite has the larger listed battery and faster-refresh display; the vivo Y400 5G counters with an AMOLED panel, 90W charging, a higher-resolution front camera and stronger stated ingress ratings. The observed prices are not a like-for-like comparison: vivo’s 8GB/128GB listing was ₹31,999, while a secondary price table showed ₹27,622 for the OnePlus 6GB/128GB version.
At a glance: how the specifications compare
These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not results from an independent side-by-side test. In particular, refresh rate, battery capacity and camera megapixels describe different aspects of a phone and do not by themselves establish real-world smoothness, endurance or image quality.

The brightness figures use different labels—vivo’s local peak and OnePlus’s peak—so they are not a direct, like-for-like display measurement. The available product information also does not establish an independent processor, camera, thermal or battery-life winner.

Which phone has the better display?
Choose the vivo if AMOLED is your priority
vivo explicitly specifies an AMOLED panel, FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. That makes the display type clear for shoppers who particularly want AMOLED; the cited specifications alone do not establish how the two phones compare in colour accuracy, outdoor visibility or perceived quality.

Choose the OnePlus if you value the higher listed refresh rate
OnePlus lists a 144Hz FHD display, compared with vivo’s 120Hz. A higher refresh-rate specification may appeal if you want the display to refresh more often, but it is not proof that every app or game runs at that rate. OnePlus’s 144 FPS gaming claim is specifically for Subway Surfers; its page separately mentions 90 FPS support for certain shooters and says updates may be required. It should not be read as a claim that all games run at 144 FPS.
Battery capacity or charging speed?
The tradeoff is straightforward on paper: OnePlus lists a 7000mAh battery and 45W charging, while vivo lists 6000mAh and 90W charging. The OnePlus has the higher stated capacity; the vivo has the higher rated charging power. Neither figure guarantees a particular number of hours or a specific time to recharge, since actual results depend on use and conditions.

- Stylish appearance meets precise cutouts, allowing full access to all ports and the camera. Buttons offer soft, responsive tactile feedback for effortless operation.
OnePlus says its “up to 2 days” battery-life estimate is based on OnePlus Test Lab data, and that actual battery life varies with use and environment. The company also estimates around 80% capacity after 1600 full charge cycles based on laboratory testing and modeling under simulated conditions; that is a manufacturer estimate, not a guarantee for an individual phone.

What do the camera specifications tell you?
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera, with an additional 2MP rear camera: vivo calls its secondary camera a bokeh camera, while OnePlus calls its depth-assist. OnePlus also lists 4K video recording at 30fps. The matching 50MP headline does not establish equal photo or video quality, and the available specifications do not support declaring a camera winner.

- Compatible with vivo Y400 5G Phone Case Cover
- Magnetic ring design. Compatible with most wireless magnetic products on the market, such as wireless chargers, magnetic car mounts, magnetic batteries, and magnetic wallets.
- The phone case features a dual-layer TPU+PU construction for a comfortable, non-slip feel. Corner airbags provide drop protection to safeguard your device.
- Perforated design enhances airflow for accelerated heat dissipation. Precise cutouts ensure full functionality of all ports, buttons, and cameras.
- Raised edges around the screen and rear camera elevate these components off the surface, effectively protecting them from scratches.
On paper, vivo’s 32MP front camera has higher resolution than the OnePlus’s 8MP front camera. That difference may matter if front-camera resolution is a priority, but megapixels alone do not determine selfie quality.
How do the water and dust ratings differ?
vivo states IP68 and IP69 ratings for the Y400 5G; OnePlus lists IP64 splash and dust resistance for the Nord CE6 Lite. The vivo has the stronger stated ingress ratings. An IP rating is not a promise that a phone is damage-proof, and it is not a reason to deliberately expose either device to water. Check the applicable warranty terms before relying on liquid-resistance claims.

What is the actual price difference?
The observed listings differ by ₹4,377: ₹31,999 for the vivo Y400 5G 8GB/128GB on the vivo India store and ₹27,622 for the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite 6GB/128GB in Gadgets 360’s price table dated 7 October 2026. This is arithmetic between two captured listings, not a matched retail comparison: RAM differs, and the OnePlus figure comes from a secondary price table rather than a verified official checkout price.

OnePlus’s page says virtual RAM is not extra physical RAM, so do not treat a virtual-RAM figure as equivalent to the phone’s installed memory. The Nord CE6 Lite supports memory-card expansion up to 2TB, but its card slot shares one of the two SIM slots.
Best Value
- Compatible with Vivo Y400 5G
- Robust, fashion case for pretecting your cell phone against scratches, drops, bumps, shock and scratching.
- Slim, form fitting bumper case design with defined edges and smooth finish. Slides easily in and out of pockets.
- Material: Made of PU leather to offer full protection all around the device.
- All the features, buttons and sensitivity of your smartphone are accessible and easily operated with the case installed.
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite if a 144Hz display specification and larger listed battery capacity matter more to you than faster rated charging or a higher ingress rating. Its 144 FPS gaming claim applies to Subway Surfers, not every game.
- Consider the vivo Y400 5G if you want an explicitly specified AMOLED display, 90W charging, a higher-resolution front camera or the stronger stated IP68/IP69 ratings.
- Compare prices only after matching configurations. The observed 8GB/128GB vivo and 6GB/128GB OnePlus listings do not settle which phone is better value for the same memory tier.
Both manufacturers list current software versions—Funtouch OS 15 for vivo and OxygenOS 16 for OnePlus—but the available information does not establish which phone will receive longer or faster software support.
