Which phone is more compact?
The vivo X300 is substantially shorter and narrower on the published measurements, and weighs 28.4 g less. Its 6.31-inch display is also much smaller than Xiaomi’s approximately 6.9-inch panel. Choose the vivo if one-handed handling and a lighter pocket load matter more; Xiaomi is the larger-screen option.

How do their camera systems differ?
vivo X300
vivo lists a three-camera rear array of 200MP, 50MP and 50MP, with apertures of f/1.68, f/2.0 and f/2.57. The specification summary available here does not provide the same focal-length detail for those cameras as Xiaomi’s listing does.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra
Xiaomi identifies the camera roles more precisely: a 50MP 1-inch main camera, a 200MP telephoto covering 75–100mm, and a 50MP 14mm ultra-wide. It also lists Leica optics and style features. The telephoto’s stated range makes the system’s longer-reach role clear, but specifications alone cannot establish which phone takes better photographs.
For video, Xiaomi lists 8K at 30fps, Dolby Vision 4K up to 120fps, and Log video up to 4K/120fps. vivo’s cited page lists MP4 recording but does not provide a full resolution-and-frame-rate breakdown in this comparison. That is a difference in documented modes, not proof that one phone produces better footage in practice.
Battery, charging and durability
Xiaomi lists a typical 6000 mAh battery. vivo lists 6040 mAh typical in most overseas regions, but 5360 mAh typical in Austria and Hungary. Confirm the exact regional model before comparing capacity: the vivo figure is not uniform across these markets.
Both manufacturers list 90W wired charging. Xiaomi lists 50W wireless charging and vivo lists 40W. These rated wattages and battery capacities do not establish real-world battery life or charging time. Package contents also vary: vivo says charger inclusion differs between Europe and other overseas markets, while Xiaomi says wireless chargers are sold separately.
vivo lists IP68 and IP69 and cautions that resistance can decrease with daily use. Xiaomi’s IP68 statement is conditional on specified laboratory testing; neither rating should be treated as a promise that a phone is waterproof in every situation.
What is the price difference?
A comparison page from 91mobiles accessed on October 7, 2026 reported an Amazon India listing of ₹139,999 for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and said the vivo X300 was unavailable in the stores it checked. That does not establish a price difference: there is no matched vivo listing, storage configuration or seller in that snapshot. For a useful comparison in your country, check live listings for the same storage configuration and note the seller and date. Also verify that the exact regional SKU supports your carrier’s network bands; a price quoted for one market may not describe the model or package sold elsewhere.
