How do the prices compare?
For China, vivo announced X300 launch prices from CNY 4,399 for 12GB+256GB to CNY 5,799 for 16GB+1TB. Cashify reported a CNY 5,499 base launch price for the X500 in China. These figures do not establish a like-for-like price difference: the X500’s base RAM and storage tier is not stated in the cited coverage, and the X300 range includes several configurations.
They are launch prices from different model announcements, not current worldwide prices. A fair retail comparison needs the same country, RAM and storage tier, tax treatment and sale date. The available reporting does not confirm an X500 India launch or price; do not treat a currency conversion of its China price as an official India price.

Which phone has the larger display?
The reported X500 screen measures 6.59 inches, compared with the X300’s official 6.31-inch AMOLED panel. Cashify reports a 144Hz refresh rate for the X500; vivo lists an adaptive 1–120Hz rate for the X300. The X500 therefore has the larger reported screen and higher stated maximum refresh rate, while the available cited coverage does not provide enough X500 display detail to compare resolution or panel technology.
Size and handling
A larger display can provide more viewing area, but diagonal measurements alone do not determine how comfortable a phone feels in one hand. Dimensions and weight for both models are not established by the cited material, so it cannot support a reliable handling comparison.

Cashify reports a 7,500mAh battery for the X500. vivo lists the X300’s typical capacity as 6,040mAh for overseas markets other than Europe, and 5,360mAh for Austria and Hungary. On those stated capacities, the X500 figure is larger; the X300 figure varies by region.

Capacity is not a battery-life test. No controlled comparison establishes how long either phone lasts under the same conditions. For the X300, vivo specifies 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The cited X500 coverage does not state charging speeds, so charging cannot be compared on those figures.
How do performance and storage compare?
vivo specifies a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 for the X300; Cashify reports a Dimensity 9600M for the X500. Chip names alone do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads. No comparable benchmark results are available here.
The captured vivo Global X300 page lists 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB configurations and says ROM expansion is unsupported. Cashify’s cited X500 coverage does not establish its RAM and storage tiers. Check the exact regional listing before comparing configurations or buying.
Do the camera megapixels show which phone takes better photos?
Cashify reports a 200MP main camera for the X300 and a 50MP main camera for the X500. That is a resolution comparison, not a verdict on image quality: megapixels alone do not determine detail, color, low-light performance or consistency. No controlled side-by-side camera test is established by the cited material, so there is not enough evidence here to name a camera winner.

What software and regional details should buyers check?
vivo Global lists Android 16 and OriginOS 6 for the X300. The cited X500 coverage does not establish its software version or confirm whether the software and configurations will be the same across markets. The X300’s listed battery capacity also differs for Austria and Hungary versus other overseas markets. Confirm the specification page for the country where you plan to buy rather than assuming one market’s details apply everywhere.
Is the vivo X500 available in India?
Cashify’s September 22, 2026 coverage says the X500 launched in China and had no confirmed India launch or price at that date. That is a dated status report, not proof of later availability or non-availability. Confirm with vivo or an authorized seller in India before making a purchase decision; no confirmed India price is established here.
