Which phone fits your priorities?
Choose by price and storage
On the cited India store figures, the Reno16 5G has lower listed prices at both of its specified configurations. But a direct price comparison needs the storage tier and availability beside it: the ₹93,999 X300 listing is for 16GB+512GB, compared with the Reno16’s 256GB options, and that X300 selection was unavailable when accessed. Recheck the chosen variant’s price and stock before deciding which offers better value.
Choose by processor expectations
The X300 lists MediaTek Dimensity 9500, while the India Reno16 5G lists Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Those names identify different platforms, but the official specifications cited do not provide a controlled head-to-head benchmark. Do not treat the processor names alone as proof of a particular gaming frame rate, everyday speed or thermal performance.
Choose by camera layout, not megapixel count alone
The X300’s listed rear setup emphasizes a 200MP main camera; the Reno16 5G has three 50MP rear cameras and a telephoto specified at 3.5x optical zoom, compared with 3x on the X300. The numbers describe resolution and optical zoom, not which phone takes better photos. For a camera-led decision, compare sample images and stabilization in matching conditions, including low light, portraits and moving subjects.

The listed X300 display is 6.31 inches; the Reno16 5G display is 6.05 inches and specifies a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. OPPO’s listed typical battery capacity is higher, while the X300 specifies higher charging wattage. Capacity and wattage do not establish real-world battery life or how quickly either phone charges; usage, settings, charger and test conditions matter.
Regional model names and prices are not interchangeable
This comparison is specifically for the India vivo X300 listing and the India OPPO Reno16 5G, model CPH2865. OPPO says other Reno16 models sold in other markets have different specifications and prices. Its global announcement, dated 25 June 2026, states: “Pricing, regional availability and release timing will vary by market.” Check the model number and the manufacturer’s page for your country before applying these specifications elsewhere.
vivo’s China page gives recommended launch prices for five configurations, from CNY 4,599 (12GB+256GB) to CNY 6,299 (16GB+1TB), and lists October 2025 as the launch month. Those are China recommended prices, not India prices or a basis for converting to an implied global price. The India store lists a different configuration set.
