Size and display: compact handling or more screen?
The X300’s 6.31-inch display and 190g listed weight make it the more compact and lighter option on the figures available. The OnePlus 15R’s 6.83-inch screen gives you more display area, and TechRadar lists it as a 165Hz AMOLED panel. Choose based on whether one-handed handling or a larger viewing and gaming surface matters more; screen size alone does not establish which display looks better.

Those figures describe hardware, not comparative image quality. Megapixel counts do not establish detail, color, low-light performance, stabilization results, or how well the cameras work across conditions. There is no substantiated controlled head-to-head camera test here, so choose the vivo for the extra camera flexibility on the spec sheet rather than assuming it takes better photos.
Battery capacity and charging options
The OnePlus 15R has the larger listed battery at 7400mAh. The vivo X300 lists 6040mAh typical capacity (5925mAh rated), supports up to 90W wired charging with vivo’s standard charger, and adds 40W wireless charging. Actual charging power varies with conditions. TechRadar reports no wireless charging for the 15R.
Capacity does not translate directly into a guaranteed number of hours: endurance depends on use, settings, signal conditions, and other factors. TechRadar’s reviewer reported at least two days between charges and a full charge in 1 hour 25 minutes on their own 15R test; that is an individual review result, not a promise or a comparison against the X300. TechRadar’s OnePlus 15R review.
Performance and software support
vivo lists the Dimensity 9500, while OnePlus and TechRadar identify the 15R’s chip as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The available comparison page reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 10,129 for the X300 and 9,363 for the 15R, but does not provide enough testing context to establish a controlled, like-for-like result. Those scores are not a reliable basis here for declaring one phone faster.
The comparison listing reports five years of OS updates and seven years of security updates for the X300. TechRadar reports four years of OS updates and six years of security patches for the OnePlus 15R. Confirm that the stated policy applies to the precise regional model you plan to buy before relying on those periods; the comparison listing and review are not a substitute for checking the manufacturers’ current regional terms.
India price difference and availability

These are comparison-page figures, not verified live offers; they do not establish current inventory, matching storage configurations, bank discounts, seller terms, or your final checkout price.
