Size and display
The X300’s 6.31-inch display makes it the smaller-screen choice on these specifications. The iQOO 15R’s listed screen is 6.59 inches and has a higher stated resolution and a 130Hz rate in normal scenes. Choose based on preferred screen size and handling: the figures alone cannot determine which panel looks better.

Camera flexibility
The X300 has three listed rear-camera roles, including a dedicated 3× optical telephoto with optical stabilization. The iQOO listing names a 50MP Sony main camera and an 8MP ultrawide. That gives the X300 more listed focal-length flexibility, particularly for optical zoom; it does not prove better photos or video. vivo’s product page says the X300 “captures even the smallest details with ultra-high resolution and stable shots”—that is the manufacturer’s description, not an independent camera assessment.
Battery and charging
The iQOO 15R has the larger stated typical capacity: 7600mAh versus 6040mAh for the X300. Its rated wired charging is also higher at 100W versus 90W. These are manufacturer specifications, not controlled battery-life or charge-time measurements, so they cannot establish how long either phone lasts in your use.
Processor and memory
The listed chips are MediaTek Dimensity 9500 for the X300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the iQOO 15R. Chip names alone do not establish which phone is faster in gaming, sustained workloads or daily use. Configuration matters too: the X300 listing includes a 16GB+512GB option, while the iQOO listing shows 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB.

Software support and durability
Both listings specify Android 16 with OriginOS 6. vivo lists IP68/IP69 ratings for the X300. iQOO advertises “4 + 6 Years of Software Updates”; confirm the current policy’s exact meaning, including what update types and support periods are covered, before treating that wording as a specific security-support guarantee.

| Phone and configuration | Official-store price snapshot | Source and date |
|---|---|---|
| vivo X300, 12GB+256GB | ₹83,999 | vivo Store India listing surfaced in search; accessed October 7, 2026 |
| vivo X300, 12GB+512GB | ₹89,999 | vivo Store India listing surfaced in search; accessed October 7, 2026 |
| iQOO 15R, 8GB+256GB | ₹53,999 | vivo Store India comparison listing; accessed October 7, 2026 |
The ₹30,000 difference between the listed entry configurations is simple arithmetic, but not a like-for-like value comparison: the X300 listing has 12GB RAM while the iQOO listing has 8GB. The 12GB+512GB X300 costs ₹36,000 more than the listed iQOO 8GB+256GB, but storage and RAM still differ. The cited official comparison listing does not state an iQOO 15R 12GB+512GB price, so a direct price comparison for matching 12GB+512GB configurations cannot be made from these figures.
These are India official-store listing snapshots retrieved October 7, 2026, not guaranteed live checkout prices or Amazon prices. Check the exact variant, seller, stock, offers and final checkout total before buying; discounts and availability can change.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the vivo X300 if a smaller display and a dedicated 3× optical telephoto are more important to you, or if you want its listed 16GB+512GB configuration or IP68/IP69 rating.
- Consider the iQOO 15R if you prefer a larger display and want the higher stated battery capacity and charging rating on paper.
- Compare exact variants before deciding on price. The available snapshots do not establish a like-for-like price gap for matching RAM and storage, nor the best price across sellers.
No independent comparative tests are established here for camera results, battery endurance, thermals, gaming performance, software smoothness or long-term reliability. The specifications point to different priorities, not a universal winner.
