vivo X300 Ultra: three native focal lengths, with extenders for extra reach
vivo’s listed rear-camera focal lengths are 14mm ultra-wide, 35mm main, and 85mm telephoto. The manufacturer also offers two compatible accessories: its Gen 2 extender provides a 200mm-equivalent optical focal length, and Gen 2 Ultra provides 400mm equivalent when attached and enabled. OPPO Find X9 Ultra: a 10x telephoto built into the phone
OPPO lists a 50MP ultra-telephoto alongside its 200MP main and telephoto cameras and 50MP ultra-wide. Its Singapore specifications include up to 10x optical zoom in video specifications. This gives the OPPO a long-zoom option without attaching an extender, although the listed camera hardware alone does not establish image quality in every scene. Which camera approach suits you?
- Choose around convenience: OPPO’s 10x telephoto is listed as part of the phone, so it does not require an extra camera accessory for that reach.
- Choose around accessory-based reach: vivo specifies 200mm- and 400mm-equivalent extender options, but you must attach and enable the relevant extender to use those focal lengths.
- For video: OPPO lists 8K30 and 4K120 rear video modes; vivo lists 8K. Recording modes are not a substitute for matched footage, stabilization, or low-light testing.
The official specifications establish camera layouts and modes, not a universal winner for photo or video quality. Both brands list a 6.82-inch display with 3168 × 1440 resolution and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The stated refresh behavior differs: vivo lists adaptive 1–144Hz, while OPPO lists adaptive 1–120Hz and says 144Hz is available in some game scenarios. Their peak-brightness claims are not directly comparable without matching test conditions.
RAM and storage availability also differs in the cited market specifications. vivo’s China page lists 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and a 16GB/1TB satellite-communication edition; OPPO Singapore lists 12GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB. A 1TB configuration exists in both evidence sets, but local availability and edition details still need checking.

The OPPO therefore has the higher stated capacity and wireless-charging rating, while the listed wired charging rating is the same. Capacity and charging ratings do not establish comparative battery life or real charging time.
