The vivo X300 Ultra and Google Pixel 11 Pro XL take different approaches to flagship hardware: vivo emphasizes dedicated 35 mm and 85 mm cameras, high-resolution display specifications and optional telephoto extenders, while Google lists a 5× telephoto, variable-refresh LTPO display and Qi2.2 wireless charging. There is no reliable universal price difference: the available official prices are for different regions and configurations, and Google’s cited US Store offer is for the Pixel 11 Pro, not the Pro XL.

How the camera systems differ
vivo: dedicated focal lengths and optional extenders
The X300 Ultra’s listed rear cameras are built around 35 mm, 85 mm and 14 mm-equivalent focal lengths, with 200 MP sensors at 35 mm and 85 mm and a 50 MP ultra-wide. Its longer reach can be extended with separately purchased accessories: vivo describes the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 as 200 mm-equivalent and the Gen 2 Ultra as 400 mm-equivalent when used with the X300 Ultra. Those accessory focal lengths are not built-in camera capabilities, and their cost is not included in the phone’s base price. Check the exact extender generation, local availability and phone compatibility before buying. (vivo extender details)
#1 Best Overall
- Attention-grabbing design meets the latest evolution of the Google Pixel Camera on the new Google Pixel 11 Pro XL; Gemini Intelligence helps manage details so you can live in the moment[1]; and the phone is available in two sizes
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan: Works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers[2]
- Stay informed without looking at your screen: When your phone is face down, Pixel HiLight gently alerts you with subtle glowing lights when your favorite contacts are calling or you’re talking with Gemini; exclusive to Google Pixel 11 Pro phones
- Magic Capture catches the moment as you live it: With just one tap, Pixel 11 Pro captures video and photos, and automatically edits, crops, and unblurs a curated collection, ready to share – and you get the memory of how it felt to be in the moment
- Two new cameras for more brilliant photos: A larger telephoto sensor captures 30% more light for clear, beautiful photos and videos, even in the dark[3]; Pixel’s longest zoom ever helps you capture details from impressive distances[4]
Pixel: 5× telephoto and computational zoom
Google lists a 5× optical telephoto and Pro Zoom up to 120×, alongside optical-quality positions at 0.5×, 1×, 2×, 5× and 10×. The maximum zoom number does not mean every zoom level uses a dedicated optical lens. Megapixel counts and stated zoom ranges alone also do not establish which phone produces better photographs; that requires comparable image testing.
Is there a real price difference?
Not from the cited prices alone. vivo’s official China recommended retail prices vary by memory, storage and edition, while the available Google US Store offer is explicitly for the Pixel 11 Pro rather than the Pixel 11 Pro XL. Comparing those figures as if they were equivalent would give a misleading answer.

Display, battery and charging: what specifications can tell you
vivo lists a higher resolution and maximum refresh rate: 3168 × 1440 at up to 144 Hz on its 6.82-inch AMOLED panel. Google lists a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED panel at 1344 × 2992, with a variable 1–120 Hz refresh rate and up to 3600 nits peak brightness. These published figures describe different panel attributes; they do not establish which screen looks better in a controlled comparison.
The listed typical battery capacities are 6600 mAh for vivo and 5115 mAh for Google. Capacity is not a runtime test, so it does not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use. Google says the Pixel 11 Pro XL can reach 75% in about 30 minutes with a 45 W USB-C PPS charger or higher; the charger is sold separately. vivo lists 100 W wired and 40 W wireless charging. The manufacturers’ charging specifications are not a shared test under identical conditions. (vivo specifications; Google hardware and charging specifications)
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the vivo X300 Ultra if the listed 35 mm and 85 mm camera focal lengths, high-resolution 144 Hz display specification, or optional telephoto-extender system suit your needs. Factor the extender’s separate purchase into the cost if you want its longer focal lengths.
- Consider the Pixel 11 Pro XL if you want Google’s listed 5× optical telephoto, LTPO display with a variable refresh rate, or Qi2.2 wireless charging up to 25 W.
- Compare local totals before choosing if price is decisive. Use the exact phone model and storage tier, and include taxes, discounts, trade-ins, carrier terms, accessories and warranty.
These are specification-based fit considerations, not a performance verdict: the listed hardware does not demonstrate which phone is faster, takes better photos or lasts longer between charges.
Check regional compatibility before importing the vivo
The cited vivo specifications are for China and list China carrier bands. They also say Beidou messaging is limited to certain versions and China Mobile service. A China-market specification should not be assumed to describe every international SKU. Before importing, confirm the exact model’s supported 5G bands and VoLTE support with your carrier, as well as warranty coverage, software region, and whether apps and notifications work as you expect.
