The vivo X300 FE is the smaller option, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro offers a larger, faster-refreshing display, a higher stated battery capacity, and wireless charging. Their listed processors and charging figures are close enough on paper that they do not establish a real-world performance winner. A fair price comparison also depends on country and configuration: the cited India listing reports a price for vivo but says Xiaomi was not released there.
How the vivo X300 FE and Xiaomi 17T Pro compare
The figures below come from vivo’s India specifications and Xiaomi’s UK specifications, so they describe regional product pages rather than a single-market retail comparison. They are manufacturer specifications, not results from matched independent tests.

Which phone has the better size and display?
The vivo’s 6.31-inch listed screen points to the more compact choice. Xiaomi’s 6.83-inch AMOLED display gives more screen area and specifies a refresh rate up to 144 Hz. The choice is practical: prioritize the smaller listed size if handling and carrying comfort matter most; choose the larger panel if screen space and its stated refresh rate are higher priorities. Display size alone does not establish image quality.

Do the processor and battery figures make one faster or longer-lasting?
The manufacturers list Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for vivo and MediaTek Dimensity 9500 for Xiaomi. Those chip names do not prove which phone performs better in games, sustained workloads, or everyday use; that would require comparable testing on the finished devices.
Xiaomi lists 7,000 mAh typical capacity against vivo’s 6,500 mAh typical figure (with a 6,350 mAh minimum/rated value also shown by vivo). Capacity is not a battery-life result. Screen settings, software, signal conditions, workload, and other factors affect endurance, and the cited sources do not establish a matched battery test.
What are the charging differences?
Xiaomi specifies 100 W wired and 50 W wireless charging. vivo lists 90 W FlashCharge and says maximum charging power requires its original charger and data cable. Xiaomi’s UK specification page says the adapter is not included in the box, so account for the cost and availability of a compatible adapter when comparing what you will actually receive. The package contents can vary by market.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is there a meaningful price difference?
There is no established like-for-like price gap in the available figures. 91mobiles’ comparison-page snapshot reports the vivo X300 FE at ₹89,999 on Amazon and marks the Xiaomi 17T Pro “Not Released in India.” That is a market-specific availability note, not a direct price comparison between two phones available in India at equivalent terms.
For a useful comparison, check live listings in the country where you plan to buy and match the RAM and storage configuration. Also compare local warranty, network compatibility, included charger, retailer return policy, and current sale price. Do not convert a price from another country into a supposed local price difference.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the vivo X300 FE if the smaller listed 6.31-inch size is your priority, or if its local availability, warranty, and price suit you better.
- Choose the Xiaomi 17T Pro if you want its larger 6.83-inch, up-to-144 Hz display, its higher stated typical battery capacity, or the listed 50 W wireless charging.
- Compare before paying if your decision depends on speed, battery life, camera quality, or heat under load: the cited specifications do not settle those questions with matched test results.
