What is the price difference in India?
On October 7, 2026, vivo’s India store listing showed the T5 5G Royal Bronze with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage at ₹34,999, with an MRP of ₹49,999. The store list showed the X300 FE with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage at ₹89,999, with an MRP of ₹109,999. The displayed difference is ₹55,000, but it compares two different RAM and storage configurations and is not a like-for-like price comparison.

Choose the X300 FE for a compact premium setup
- Its 6.31-inch display and listed 191g weight make it the smaller specified option of the two; the T5 5G’s dimensions and weight are not stated on the cited page.
- It has a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera in addition to its main and wide-angle rear cameras. That gives you a separate camera option for telephoto framing, but the specifications alone do not establish better image quality.
- Its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is the more premium-positioned chipset in this comparison. The available evidence does not establish a matched, independent performance result against the T5 5G.
Choose the T5 5G for the lower observed price and larger stated battery
- The observed 6GB/128GB store listing was substantially cheaper than the observed X300 FE listing, though those are different configurations and live prices may have changed.

This is a manufacturer claim about a specific comparison, not an independent comparison with the X300 FE.

vivo also reports an AnTuTu Benchmark V11 score of 1,202,592 for the T5 5G’s 12GB RAM and 256GB storage edition, with results varying by configuration and environment. It should not be directly compared with an X300 FE score without a matched test. Neither figure establishes typical performance across apps, sustained workloads, or different configurations.

The battery figures are manufacturer-stated capacities, not runtime tests. Likewise, the 90W and 44W figures are maximum wired charging ratings under the specified charger and cable conditions, not measured charge times.

Water resistance: IP ratings are not a waterproofing guarantee
Both phones have IP68/IP69-related claims on their vivo India pages, but those ratings refer to controlled testing. vivo cautions that the T5 5G is not a professional waterproof phone and that resistance to splashes, water, and dust is not permanent and may decrease with daily use. Its guidance says not to immerse the phone during everyday use, to avoid seawater and other liquids, and to dry the phone before charging; liquid-ingress damage is not covered by warranty. Treat the X300 FE’s rating as a test-based specification too, not permission to expose it to water.
Final choice
Pick the X300 FE if compact size, a dedicated telephoto camera, and a premium chipset matter most to you. Pick the T5 5G if the lower observed India-store price and larger stated battery are more important. Check the current price for the exact RAM and storage option before buying; the available specifications and store listings do not establish an overall winner through independent head-to-head testing.
