OPPO India’s official Reno16 page covers the Reno16 5G (model CPH2865) and Reno16c 5G (model CPH2859), not the Reno16 Pro. As of 31 August 2026, OPPO listed the non-Pro Reno16 5G at ₹66,999 for 8GB/256GB and ₹72,999 for 12GB/256GB. Those figures are for a different phone and cannot be used to calculate a Reno16 Pro price difference. The X300 FE’s 6.31-inch display is notably smaller on paper than the Reno16 Pro’s reported 6.78-inch panel. Vivo specifies AMOLED resolution of 2640 × 1216. The supplied comparison data does not establish the Reno16 Pro’s display resolution or panel type, so screen size is the safe direct comparison. Battery and charging: ratings, not endurance results
Vivo rates the X300 FE battery at 6500mAh typical and lists 90W FlashCharge. Gadgets360 reports a 7000mAh battery, 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging for the Reno16 Pro. Performance and software: what the listed chips do—and do not—tell you
Vivo lists Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while Gadgets360 reports a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s for the Reno16 Pro. The available specifications do not include a comparable benchmark or real-world performance test, so they do not establish which phone is faster, runs cooler or sustains performance better. Vivo lists OriginOS 6; Gadgets360 reports Android 16 with ColorOS 16 for the OPPO.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose the vivo X300 FE if
- You want a phone with a verified Vivo India store listing and published India configurations.
- A 6.31-inch display and a compact-on-paper form factor matter more to you than the larger reported OPPO screen.
- You value the listed 50MP optical-zoom telephoto hardware alongside main and ultra-wide cameras.
Consider the Reno16 Pro only if
- You are shopping in a market where the exact Reno16 Pro model is officially sold and can verify its local price, configuration and warranty.
- You prefer the reported larger 6.78-inch screen, 7000mAh battery or wireless charging specification.
- You are comfortable treating the cited Pro specifications as secondary-source reporting rather than an official OPPO India product specification.
For an India buyer, the X300 FE is the straightforward option to assess because Vivo lists it locally. Do not treat the non-Pro Reno16 5G’s India price as a substitute for the Reno16 Pro’s price.
