The vivo X300 FE is the far more capable phone on paper. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a sharper AMOLED display, a telephoto camera and 90 W wired charging. The OPPO A6x is a budget model with a bigger but lower-resolution screen. Its name covers two different phones, though, so check the model code before you compare anything.
We can’t give you a single price difference. The official pages we checked list specifications but no comparable current prices, and prices vary by country and configuration. A method for calculating the gap in your market is further down.

Performance
The listed chips are in different tiers. The X300 FE has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The A6x pages list a Dimensity 6300 or a Snapdragon 685, depending on the variant. We haven’t seen independent benchmarks for these phones, so we won’t put numbers on the gap. The spec sheets point to a large one. The X300 FE also lists more memory and storage than the A6x.

Display
This is a trade-off between size and sharpness. The vivo is more compact at 6.31 inches. Its AMOLED panel runs at 2640 × 1216. The A6x has a 6.75-inch LCD at 1570 × 720, so it has more screen area but fewer pixels. Both list refresh rates up to 120 Hz.
Camera
The X300 FE has three rear cameras: a 50 MP main with OIS, a 50 MP telephoto with OIS and an 8 MP ultrawide, per vivo India. The A6x has a main camera plus a monochrome helper. That main camera is 50 MP on the global model and 13 MP on the Brazilian one. Only the vivo lists a telephoto lens. vivo’s global page says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 works with the X300 FE and is sold separately.

Battery and charging
Both phones list 6500 mAh typical capacity. Charging is where they differ. vivo lists 90 W wired and 40 W wireless charging. OPPO’s global and Brazil pages both say fast charging is unsupported, so expect much slower top-ups on the A6x. Capacity alone doesn’t decide endurance. The chip, screen and software all affect it, and we have no same-condition battery test for either phone.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What is the price difference?
We found no matched, current prices from official sources, so any figure here would be a guess. The X300 FE is a flagship-chip model and the A6x is an entry-level one, so expect a wide gap. Work out the real number like this:

- Pick your country and confirm the A6x model code (CPH2783, CPH2819 or another).
- Match configurations. For example, compare the X300 FE’s 8 GB + 256 GB with the A6x’s largest option, and note that the base models don’t line up.
- Take both prices from comparable sellers on the same day, in the same currency.
- Note whether tax and shipping are included, and exclude discounts, trade-ins and bundles, or record them separately.
- Subtract the A6x price from the X300 FE price.
Which should you choose?
- Choose the X300 FE if you want top-tier performance, a sharp AMOLED screen, telephoto zoom, fast wired charging or wireless charging.
- Choose the A6x if you want a large screen and a big battery at a much lower price, and can live with an entry-level chip, a lower-resolution LCD and no fast charging.
