The vivo X300 FE is the more compact, higher-specification option, while the Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra 5G costs far less on its listed price and has a larger display. At the announced/listed reference prices, the difference is ₹59,000—but Ai+ showed its phone as sold out, so that is not a confirmed live checkout comparison.

How large is the price difference?
Using vivo’s May 2026 announced price of ₹79,999 for the X300 FE 12 GB + 256 GB and Ai+’s ₹20,999 listed price for the Nova 2 Ultra 5G, the arithmetic difference is ₹59,000. This compares an announced vivo price with an Ai+ listing that was marked sold out, not two confirmed, currently purchasable configurations. Ai+’s store listing does not establish the exact RAM and storage variant; verify the SKU and checkout price before treating the difference as a buying quote.

vivo said sales of the X300 FE would begin May 14, 2026, through Flipkart, Amazon, vivo’s e-store and retail partners. Its announcement gave prices inclusive of taxes: ₹79,999 for 12 GB + 256 GB and ₹89,999 for 12 GB + 512 GB. Those are launch prices, not a statement of today’s offer. Check the dated vivo announcement and confirm the live SKU and checkout total. The vivo e-store also showed an 8 GB + 256 GB listing at ₹89,999, which conflicts with the launch announcement’s variant details; the current listing should be verified rather than assumed to match the launch configuration. vivo’s e-store listing

The listing and availability differ by source, so neither price should be treated as a guaranteed current offer. See 91mobiles’ model listing.

Choose the vivo X300 FE for a compact, more capable specification set
- Its 6.31-inch display is the smaller of the two, which may suit someone who prefers a more compact phone.
- The listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is in a substantially higher processor tier on paper than the Nova 2 Ultra 5G’s Dimensity 7400. This is a specification comparison, not a side-by-side performance test.
- It has a dedicated 50 MP telephoto camera; the Ai+ listing names a main and ultra-wide rear camera but no telephoto.
- It lists 90 W wired and 40 W wireless charging, compared with 33 W charging for the Ai+.
- Its compared configurations offer 256 GB or 512 GB storage, versus 128 GB listed for the Ai+.
- Its much higher reference price makes sense only if those differences are worth the extra cost to you.
Choose the Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra 5G if screen size and lower listed price matter most
- Its 6.78-inch display is larger than the vivo’s, while both are listed as 120 Hz AMOLED screens.
- Its ₹20,999 store listing is substantially lower than vivo’s announced X300 FE starting price, but stock and exact configuration need confirmation.
- Its listed camera, processor, charging and storage specifications are more modest than the vivo’s; choose it when the larger screen and lower listed price outweigh those differences.
Camera, battery and performance: what the specs can—and cannot—tell you
The vivo’s listed rear-camera advantage is the additional 50 MP telephoto camera. The Ai+ has a 50 MP main and 8 MP ultra-wide camera in the comparison listing. Megapixel counts and camera-module lists do not establish real-world image quality, and no side-by-side camera test is available here. Likewise, the vivo’s larger battery figure does not by itself prove longer runtime; usage, software and testing conditions matter.
The processor specifications suggest a higher performance tier for the vivo, but there is no directly comparable hands-on gaming or benchmark test here. Treat the comparison as a look at listed hardware, not a measured speed result.

Quick Recap
What to verify before ordering
- Confirm the exact RAM and storage variant, especially for the Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra 5G, whose manufacturer listing does not establish the configuration tied to ₹20,999.
- Check live stock and the final checkout price; the Ai+ store showed sold out and the 91mobiles 6 GB + 128 GB offer was out of stock when checked.
- For the vivo, compare the live SKU with the May 2026 launch announcement because the e-store variant and price details differ from the announcement.
- Ask the manufacturer or seller for written OS and security update commitments rather than assuming the durations in a comparison listing are guaranteed.
