The X200T is the higher-specified device on paper: a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip, three 50MP rear cameras including a telephoto, and faster wired and wireless charging. The T5 5G costs less, has a larger screen and a higher stated battery capacity. Neither is a clear overall winner; the right choice depends on which of those trade-offs matters to you.
What the price difference actually compares

The ₹25,000 gap is measured between the X200T 12GB + 256GB launch price and the T5 5G 6GB + 128GB listed price. That pairing means the X200T has double the RAM of the T5 5G configuration being compared. If you want to match storage, the closest X200T variant is also 256GB, but the T5 5G’s top configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage would narrow the memory gap while its price would need to be checked separately.
Treat all of these figures as snapshots. The launch price is a stable reference point; the T5 5G figure is a store listing that changes. The X200T product page was inconsistent when checked: a search result showed ₹59,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the opened page displayed an unavailable state and, in another view, an MRP-only block with no clear selling price. Do not assume current stock at vivo India from that page. Any launch-period offers from vivo’s release are historical and subject to their terms.

These values come from vivo’s official India product pages. Two caveats apply. First, the T5 5G’s 7050mAh figure is a stated capacity and the X200T’s 6200mAh is a typical value, so they are not directly comparable measurements. Second, 91mobiles lists refresh rates of 120Hz for the X200T and 144Hz for the T5 5G, but those figures did not appear on the official pages checked, so do not rely on them without verifying them yourself. Neither official page establishes how long either phone will receive operating system updates.
Performance and cameras: what the specs do and do not show
The Dimensity 9400+ is the higher-tier chip in this pair, and the X200T also carries more base RAM. Those are hardware facts. They do not show how either phone performs in games, under sustained load or in heat, because no independent test of these two phones is established in the sources reviewed here.

The camera difference is clearer on paper. The X200T lists three 50MP rear sensors, one of which is a telephoto, and vivo’s launch release highlights the ZEISS imaging collaboration. The T5 5G has a 50MP main sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide and no telephoto listed. A telephoto lens gives you a different focal range, which matters if you shoot portraits or distant subjects often. It does not by itself make the X200T’s photos better, and megapixel counts do not measure image quality. Both phones have a 32MP front camera.

Battery and charging
The T5 5G has the larger stated battery at 7050mAh, against the X200T’s 6200mAh typical capacity. The X200T has the stronger charging specification, with 90W wired and 40W wireless. The T5 5G is listed at 44W charging. A bigger battery number and a faster charger do not guarantee longer real-world use, because runtime depends on the chip, screen, software and how you use the phone. Judge endurance by reviews that test both models under the same conditions, not by capacity alone.

Who should choose which phone
Choose the vivo X200T if
- You want the higher-tier Dimensity 9400+ chip and 12GB of RAM as standard.
- A telephoto rear camera matters to you, and you want the ZEISS-linked imaging that vivo highlights.
- Fast charging, including 40W wireless, is a priority.
- You can justify the higher price for the 12GB + 256GB configuration.
Choose the vivo T5 5G if
- Spending less is the main constraint, and the 6GB + 128GB listed configuration meets your needs.
- You want the larger 6.83-inch screen with the same 2800 x 1260 AMOLED resolution.
- A larger stated battery capacity is more important to you than charging speed.
- You are fine with a Dimensity 7500 Turbo and a standard 8MP ultra-wide rather than a telephoto lens.
vivo’s own launch statement frames the X200T as part of its X Series, emphasising imaging, performance and software. That is the manufacturer’s positioning, not an independent verdict, and it does not settle which phone is better for your use.

- Choose the exact RAM and storage configuration you want, because the X200T and T5 5G prices are quoted for different tiers.
- Check the current price on vivo India’s store and on any other seller you plan to use. Compare the same RAM and storage across both phones.
- Confirm stock and the seller before you pay, since the X200T product page showed conflicting states when checked.
- Check any active offers and their terms; launch-period offers from vivo’s release are no longer guaranteed to apply.
- If you plan to buy the X200T, vivo lists an ultrasonic tempered glass protector for it. Confirm it fits the exact model and check the listing before ordering.
- Confirm the warranty, network band support and bundled items for your region, since these can vary by market.
