That is not a live, like-for-like price comparison: the vivo listing was marked unavailable, so check current stock and price before choosing.
India models and configurations
This comparison is between the vivo X200T sold in India and the India-market OPPO Reno16 5G, model CPH2865—not the Reno16c 5G. OPPO cautions that Reno16 specifications and prices can vary by country.

Specifications are manufacturer claims, not results from a controlled head-to-head test. The chip names indicate different product tiers on paper, but they do not establish a real-world speed or gaming winner. Neither megapixel counts nor camera-lens specifications alone establish which phone takes better pictures.
Which screen and performance profile suits you?
Choose the X200T for the higher-resolution, larger display
vivo lists a 6.67-inch 2800×1260 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a manufacturer-stated local peak brightness of 5000 nits. The larger screen and higher stated resolution may appeal if you prioritize viewing space and fine detail. The peak-brightness figure is a manufacturer specification, not a brightness measurement across the entire display.

Choose based on software and storage needs, not chip names alone
The X200T has 12GB RAM and offers 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The Reno16 comes in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB configurations, with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Neither model supports storage-card expansion, so consider your likely storage needs at purchase.
OPPO lists the Reno16 screen as 16.05cm, FHD+ 2640×1216, 120Hz AMOLED, with typical brightness of 600 nits and HBM of 1800 nits. Brightness figures use different manufacturer labels and conditions, so they are not directly comparable as a single verified outdoor-visibility result.

How do the cameras differ?
Rear cameras
Both phones list three 50MP rear cameras, but their implementations are not identical. vivo specifies a ZEISS main camera using a Sony IMX921 sensor, 1/1.56-inch sensor size, f/1.57 aperture and OIS; a ZEISS periscope telephoto using an IMX882 sensor, 1/1.95-inch size, f/2.57 aperture and 70mm-equivalent focal length; and an ultrawide using a JN1 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and autofocus.

Front cameras
The Reno16’s listed 50MP front camera includes autofocus, while vivo lists a 32MP front camera. The higher megapixel count and autofocus specification may matter if you take selfies or record yourself, but they do not by themselves prove a better-looking photo or video.
Battery, charging and durability
OPPO lists a larger battery capacity: 6700mAh typical (6490mAh rated), compared with vivo’s 6200mAh typical (6060mAh minimum). Capacity alone cannot determine battery life; usage, settings and other factors matter. The listed maximum charging ratings—up to 80W wired for OPPO, versus up to 90W wired and 40W wireless for vivo—are not measured full-charge times.

vivo lists IP68 and IP69 ratings. OPPO lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K. These are product ratings, not a reason to deliberately expose either phone to water or dust; follow each manufacturer’s care guidance.
What are the India prices and the actual price difference?
Official price observations are dated and not synchronized, so they do not establish a definitive current gap.

OPPO’s 2 July 2026 launch announcement gave launch prices of ₹61,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹67,999 for 12GB+256GB, with sales planned to start on 9 July. The later product page’s higher prices are dated 31 August 2026; use that later dated statement as the relevant official observation, not as a guaranteed live offer.
For a fair buying decision, compare the same day’s in-stock India prices and matching storage configurations. The vivo figure is for 12GB+256GB and was unavailable when observed; the OPPO figures are dated price statements. Offers and seller stock can change.
Which phone should you buy?
- Lean toward the vivo X200T if you value its listed Dimensity 9400+ chipset, larger and higher-resolution display, periscope camera hardware, 12GB RAM baseline or wireless charging—and can find the configuration in stock at a price you accept.
- Lean toward the OPPO Reno16 5G if you want a higher-resolution autofocus selfie camera, larger stated battery capacity, a listed 3.5× optical telephoto, or an 8GB configuration. Its official India price page’s figures are lower than the observed vivo Store listing, but they are dated and the comparison is not a same-day quote.
Both manufacturers list a charger and protective case in the box. vivo also lists an applied protective film.
