How much smaller and lighter is the X200 FE?
The FE is 0.36 inches smaller diagonally and is shorter and narrower: its listed height and width are 150.83 × 71.76 mm, compared with 160.27 × 74.81 mm for the X200. At 186 g, it is 11 g lighter than the black X200 and 16 g lighter than the green version. Both India listings give the phones a 7.99 mm thickness.

Display and performance: bigger screen versus different chip tiers
Display
Both phones have AMOLED panels with 120 Hz refresh rates. The X200’s resolution is 2800 × 1260 on a 6.67-inch screen; the FE’s is 2640 × 1216 on a 6.31-inch screen. vivo lists local peak brightness at 4500 nits for the X200 and 5000 nits for the FE. These peak figures do not establish which screen is easier to see outdoors under the same conditions.
Processor
The India X200 lists MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400, while the X200 FE lists the Dimensity 9300+. The model names identify different chips, with the X200 carrying the newer, higher-listed tier. No comparable benchmark or sustained-performance test is available here, so the specification alone does not justify a precise speed, gaming, or efficiency advantage.
Camera hardware: both have a 50 MP main and 3× telephoto
Each phone lists a 50 MP Sony IMX921 main camera with optical image stabilization and a 50 MP Sony IMX882 telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom and OIS. The FE describes its telephoto as a periscope camera.

Ultra-wide cameras
The X200 has a 50 MP, 119-degree ultra-wide camera with autofocus. The FE has an 8 MP, 120-degree ultra-wide camera with fixed focus. On listed hardware, the X200 offers much higher ultra-wide resolution and autofocus; actual photo quality cannot be determined from megapixels and focus type alone.
Selfie cameras
The FE lists a 50 MP autofocus front camera, compared with the X200’s 32 MP fixed-focus front camera. That gives the FE the higher-resolution and autofocus specification, but it does not by itself prove that its selfies look better.

Battery and charging: FE lists 700 mAh more in India
vivo lists typical battery capacity as 6,500 mAh for the India X200 FE and 5,800 mAh for the India X200—a 700 mAh difference. Both India product pages list 90 W charging. Capacity is not a runtime test: screen use, network conditions, software, and other factors affect actual endurance, so the figures do not establish how many hours either phone will last.
Battery capacity varies by market for the FE. vivo’s global specifications list 6,500 mAh for overseas markets except Austria and Hungary, where the listed typical capacity is 5,300 mAh. Check the exact model sold in your country rather than assuming the India specification applies everywhere. See vivo’s global X200 FE specifications.

Which one should you choose?
Consider the vivo X200 if you want
- A larger 6.67-inch display.
- The India-listed Dimensity 9400.
- A 50 MP autofocus ultra-wide rather than an 8 MP fixed-focus unit.
- Two nano-SIMs or the option to use one nano-SIM plus eSIM, as listed for India.
Consider the vivo X200 FE if you want
- A smaller, lighter phone: 186 g and 6.31 inches on the India listing.
- The larger India-listed typical battery capacity, while recognizing that capacity does not guarantee a specific runtime.
- A 50 MP autofocus selfie camera.
- A lower India launch price at each of the listed matched memory/storage tiers.
Neither specification sheet settles which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in everyday use. Base the decision on the features you value and the verified price of the exact local variant. Check network bands, SIM support, battery capacity, and included accessories for that market: the India pages list a charger and phone case for both models, while vivo’s global FE page says a charger is not included in Europe.
