The vivo X200 Ultra is the more deliberately camera-system-focused choice, built around 14 mm ultra-wide, 35 mm documentary and 85 mm APO telephoto perspectives. The newer vivo X300 is positioned as a compact flagship, with a 6.31-inch display, Dimensity 9500 and a 200 MP main camera alongside 50 MP telephoto and ultra-wide cameras. Their battery and charging figures are close; the better fit depends more on camera approach, size, configuration and the price of the exact version available where you live.

Which phone is better for camera use?
Choose the X200 Ultra for its focal-length-led camera concept
Vivo describes the X200 Ultra around 14 mm ultra-wide, 35 mm documentary and 85 mm APO telephoto lenses. That gives the comparison a practical starting point: consider which perspectives you use, rather than treating the main-camera megapixel count as a complete measure of camera capability. Vivo’s launch description calls the setup ZEISS triple prime lenses and dual imaging chips; that is product positioning, not an independent test result.

Choose the X300 if its camera configuration and smaller format suit you
The China X300 specification page lists a 200 MP ZEISS main camera, a 50 MP ZEISS APO telephoto camera and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera. Vivo’s global materials present the phone as a compact-sized flagship. The figures identify the camera arrangement, but they do not provide a like-for-like image-quality verdict against the X200 Ultra.

Size, display and performance
Vivo lists the China X300 with a 6.31-inch AMOLED panel, 2640 × 1216 resolution and a 1–120 Hz refresh rate. The X200 Ultra display dimensions are not established in the cited comparison details, so a numerical size or screen-quality head-to-head would overstate what can be verified here.
Vivo’s China specifications identify the X300’s processor as the Dimensity 9500, built on a 3 nm process with an eight-core configuration. A comparable X200 Ultra processor detail is not established in the available specifications for this comparison, so the processor generation alone does not support declaring an overall performance winner.

Battery and charging: nearly matched specifications
Vivo lists typical battery capacity at 6,000 mAh for the X200 Ultra and 6,040 mAh for the X300. Both cited specification pages list 90 W wired and 40 W wireless charging. These manufacturer specifications are close, but they do not establish comparative real-world battery life or charging time.

| X300 16 GB + 1 TB | ¥6,299 | Vivo China parameter-page suggested retail price, accessed in 2026. |
The arithmetic difference between the two launch starting prices is ¥2,100, with the X300 launch figure lower. Comparing the X200 Ultra’s ¥6,499 launch starting price with the X300’s ¥4,599 listed 12 GB + 256 GB price gives a ¥1,900 difference. Neither calculation is a same-date street-price comparison; the latter also compares different pricing bases and does not match storage configurations.
Regional versions matter before you buy
The cited X200 Ultra announcement and pricing are China-focused. Vivo also publishes an international product page for the X300, alongside its China model specifications. A product page does not establish that every configuration is available in every country. Before ordering, confirm the exact regional model and RAM/storage configuration, network-band compatibility, warranty coverage, local stock and software or ROM region. Do not assume that China pricing or software details apply to an international unit.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the X200 Ultra if its 14 mm, 35 mm and 85 mm camera perspectives are the main reason you are shopping, and the exact regional version and price work for you.
- Consider the X300 if you want Vivo’s compact-flagship positioning, its verified 6.31-inch China display specification, and the listed 200 MP plus dual 50 MP camera arrangement.
- Compare local offers by exact configuration rather than treating China launch prices as today’s price in your market. For either model, confirm the seller’s region, warranty and network compatibility.
Both phones have similar listed battery and charging figures. The strongest documented distinction is therefore the X200 Ultra’s focal-length-led camera concept versus the X300’s compact positioning and newer listed China specifications—not a proven overall performance or image-quality winner.
