If you mostly use a standard wide camera and prioritize a lower price or larger battery, the F35 Pro is a credible alternative. These are decisions based on published specifications and dated prices, not hands-on camera or battery testing.

What does the V80’s zoom give you?
The V80 has a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. Optical zoom uses a separate camera lens to frame a distant subject more closely; it is different from enlarging a crop from the main camera. OIS is intended to help stabilize the camera, particularly when small hand movements would otherwise blur a shot. vivo identifies the telephoto sensor as a Sony IMX882.

That establishes a hardware advantage for the V80 when you need a tighter view from a distance. It does not prove that every V80 photo will look better: image quality depends on lighting, processing and the shooting situation, and there is no controlled photo comparison behind these specifications.

How much more does the V80 cost in India?
vivo’s India launch announcement dated 6 October 2026 lists V80 prices and says sales begin on 13 October through partner retail stores, vivo’s site, Flipkart and Amazon. A Dalimss News comparison published on 9 October 2026 reported the F35 Pro prices below. The price differences are calculated from those cited figures; they are not a separate market-wide price survey.

The cited figures are specific to India and particular memory configurations; they do not establish a live checkout price, current stock, an exchange-rate conversion or the price difference in another country. What else differs in the specifications?
Battery and charging
OPPO specifies an 8,000mAh typical-capacity battery, with a rated capacity of 7,780mAh, and charging support up to 80W SUPERVOOC or 44W UFCS. vivo lists a 7,200mAh battery and 90W FlashCharge for the V80. These are manufacturer specifications, not measured battery life or charging times. The F35 Pro has the larger stated battery capacity; the listed charging wattages alone do not establish which phone charges faster in practice.

OPPO lists OIS on the F35 Pro’s 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP autofocus front camera. Its listed rear-video modes include 4K at 30 frames per second. vivo says the V80 supports 4K at 60 frames per second. These are manufacturer-stated features, not a comparison of actual video quality.

NFC
OPPO’s India F35 Pro specification page says NFC is unsupported. The available V80 specifications do not establish its NFC status, so there is not enough information here to declare a winner on NFC.

Choose the V80 if optical reach is a regular need
- You often take portraits, event photos or other pictures of subjects you cannot approach.
- You want a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera with OIS, rather than relying only on the main and ultrawide cameras.
- The additional ₹17,000 at the cited base prices—or ₹15,000 for the cited 256GB variants—fits your budget.
Consider the F35 Pro if price or battery capacity matters more
- You mostly take ordinary wide-camera photos and do not expect to use a telephoto camera often.
- You want the lower reported India price for the listed 128GB or 256GB configuration.
- The larger manufacturer-stated battery capacity is more useful to you than the V80’s dedicated zoom camera.
For occasional distant photos, first consider how often you actually need a tighter frame; the V80’s optical hardware is a meaningful difference, but it does not automatically justify the price premium for every buyer. No hands-on testing establishes a broader camera, battery or charging winner.
