Which phone is better value?
There is no reliable value winner without current prices for both phones at the same storage capacity. vivo announced the V70 in India at ₹45,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹49,999 for 12GB+256GB on February 19, 2026, with sales through its website, Flipkart, Amazon and partner retailers from February 26, 2026. If the V60 costs substantially less and its display, cameras and software suit you, the savings may matter more than the V70’s updates. If the gap is small, the newer phone’s display and storage specifications make the V70 easier to justify.

Digital Camera World describes the V70’s 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED as sharper than the V60’s display. This is the most immediately visible difference identified in the review: text, photos and video can benefit from the higher resolution, while the 120Hz refresh rate supports smoother scrolling. Cameras: choose based on zoom and wide-angle use
The India V70 specification lists three rear cameras: a 50MP ZEISS OIS main camera, a 50MP ZEISS super telephoto camera and an 8MP ZEISS ultrawide. It also lists a 50MP ZEISS group selfie camera. vivo India specifications
In its review, Digital Camera World favored the V70’s main and telephoto cameras, while describing the ultrawide as weaker. The telephoto is relevant if you often take portraits or frame distant subjects; the ultrawide is useful for fitting more into a landscape or group shot. If wide-angle quality is your priority, the reviewer’s assessment is a reason to look closely at sample images rather than assume all three cameras are equally capable. Who should buy the V70, and who should keep or buy the V60?
Choose the Vivo V70 if
- You are buying new and value the V70’s higher-resolution 1.5K display and Android 16 starting point.
- You want the listed 50MP telephoto camera, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage.
- The price difference against a comparable V60 listing is small enough to justify those changes.
Choose the Vivo V60 if
- It is substantially cheaper at the same capacity and already meets your needs.
- You are an owner considering an upgrade mainly for faster performance; the shared listed processor and reviewer’s modest speed assessment make that a weak reason by itself.
- You are satisfied with its display and camera experience and would rather avoid replacing a working phone.
