Which phone has the better camera?
The V70 has the more versatile listed camera hardware. Its rear setup includes a telephoto camera with vivo-specified 3× optical zoom and an ultra-wide camera, alongside a 50 MP main camera. The T5x lists a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP bokeh camera, without a listed telephoto or ultra-wide camera.

For subjects that are distant or scenes that need a wider frame, the V70’s additional camera types give it more documented options. It also lists a 50 MP ZEISS front camera, compared with 32 MP on the T5x. These are specification comparisons, not proof of better photos: megapixel counts and camera labels alone do not establish image quality. vivo describes the V70 cameras with the marketing line “Each Camera Meets ZEISS Optical Standards”; that is the manufacturer’s statement, not an independent test finding.
Which has the larger or sharper screen?
The T5x has the larger display at 6.76 inches, versus 6.59 inches on the V70. The V70’s AMOLED panel has the higher listed resolution, 2750 × 1260, while the T5x LCD is 2344 × 1080. In practical terms, choose the T5x if screen size is the priority; choose the V70 if you prefer the higher-resolution AMOLED specification. These figures do not establish brightness, refresh rate, or outdoor readability.

Which has the bigger battery, and which charges faster?
vivo lists a 7200 mAh battery for the T5x and a 6500 mAh typical capacity for the V70. The T5x therefore has the higher stated capacity, but capacity alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use; screen, network, workload, and user habits affect battery life. vivo itself says actual T5x battery performance varies with usage and conditions.
The V70 lists 90W charging, compared with 44W for the T5x. Those are rated charging-power figures, not a guarantee of a particular charging time; no comparable independent charging test is established here.

How much more does the vivo V70 cost?
In vivo India store listings captured on October 7, 2026, the selected V70 12GB+256GB Passion Red listing showed ₹64,999, while the selected T5x 6GB+128GB listing showed ₹27,999. Subtracting those displayed prices gives ₹37,000, but the comparison is not like-for-like because the V70 listing has more RAM and storage. vivo’s T5x 8GB+256GB listing separately showed ₹34,999.
A clean same-configuration price gap cannot be calculated from these listings: a confirmed V70 8GB+256GB price alongside the T5x 8GB+256GB price is not established. Check the current vivo India listing for the precise variant and price before buying; store prices and stock can change.
Which one should you choose?
Choose the vivo V70 if
- You want the listed telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom and an ultra-wide rear camera.
- You prefer an AMOLED display with the higher listed resolution.
- You value the higher listed charging power and vivo’s stated update commitment of up to four OS generations and six years of security updates.
Choose the vivo T5x if
- You want the larger 6.76-inch display.
- You prioritize the higher stated battery capacity.
- Your budget is closer to the lower-priced T5x store configurations, while ensuring you compare the same RAM and storage tier.
Durability ratings and longevity statements in the table are vivo-published claims, not independent verification. Processor names alone also do not determine which phone is faster for a particular workload; a fair performance judgment requires comparable benchmark or real-use results.
