Which phone has the stronger camera setup?
vivo V70: more camera options on paper
vivo lists three rear cameras, including a 50 MP OIS super telephoto camera as well as a 50 MP OIS main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide. That gives the V70 a dedicated telephoto option absent from Motorola’s India listing, which names a main camera and ultrawide. The V70 also has a higher-resolution front camera on the published specifications: 50 MP with autofocus versus Motorola’s listed 32 MP.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion: main and ultrawide
Motorola’s India specification lists a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 710 OIS main camera, a 13 MP ultrawide with a 120° field of view, and a dedicated light sensor. The listed megapixel counts and camera components do not establish which phone takes better photos; there are no independent camera test results here.
How do the screens and processors differ?
The Motorola listing describes a larger screen: 6.8 inches versus the V70’s 6.59 inches, and it specifies a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. vivo identifies its panel as a 1.5K Ultra Clear OLED, while Motorola gives a 2772 × 1272 resolution for its Extreme AMOLED. Both manufacturers publish high peak-brightness claims, but those figures do not by themselves show typical outdoor brightness or how long a screen sustains peak output.

Which has the bigger battery, and which charges faster?
Motorola’s India support listing specifies a 7000 mAh battery and 68W TurboPower charging. vivo’s launch announcement specifies 90W charging, but the cited launch material does not give the V70 battery capacity. So Motorola has the larger stated battery capacity in this comparison, while vivo has the higher stated charging wattage. Neither specification proves real-world endurance or how quickly a phone charges in everyday conditions.

vivo India announced launch prices of ₹45,999 for the 8 GB/256 GB V70 and ₹49,999 for the 12 GB/256 GB model. Sales were announced to begin on February 26, 2026, through vivo’s website, Flipkart, Amazon, and partner retail stores. These are launch prices and launch-channel details, not confirmation of current pricing or stock.
A current India price for the Edge 70 Fusion was not stated on the Motorola India specifications page consulted. Without a verified current price for the Motorola and a like-for-like RAM/storage configuration, an exact price gap or value-for-money verdict cannot be calculated. Check an authorized Indian seller for the specific variant before buying.

Use the India-specific configuration when comparing prices or specifications: Motorola’s India support page lists the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, 8 GB or 12 GB RAM, 128 GB or 256 GB storage, and a 7000 mAh battery. Motorola cautions that specifications can vary by market.

Those are different regional listings, not proof that every Edge 70 Fusion shares one universal specification sheet. A separate regional product page describes a 5200 mAh model and three OS upgrades with five years of security releases; that support claim is not established for an India unit.

- Choose the vivo V70 if a dedicated telephoto camera, a higher-resolution listed front camera, or the announced India software-support commitment is most important to you.
- Consider the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion if you want the larger listed display, its up-to-144 Hz refresh rate, or the 7000 mAh battery specified for the India configuration.
- Compare live prices before deciding because the V70 figures above are launch prices and a current Motorola India price was not verified. Match RAM and storage, and confirm that the Motorola listing is for the India-market variant.
