Samsung’s Galaxy A27 5G counters with a lower announced launch price for the matching 8GB/128GB configuration and a stated commitment of up to six Android OS/One UI upgrades and six years of security updates. These are specification and price comparisons—not proof of which phone takes better photos, lasts longer on a charge or performs faster.

What the differences mean
Display: vivo lists more size and resolution
The V70 FE’s listed 6.83-inch, 2800 × 1260 panel is larger and higher-resolution than Samsung’s 6.7-inch FHD+ panel. Both are listed at up to 120 Hz. vivo also gives a local peak-brightness figure; without equivalent measurement conditions and a comparable Samsung figure, brightness should not be treated as a like-for-like win.

Cameras: different hardware, no proven photo winner
vivo lists a 200 MP optically stabilized main camera and 8 MP ultrawide. Samsung lists a 50 MP OIS main camera, 5 MP ultrawide and an additional 2 MP macro camera. The vivo front camera has a higher stated resolution and autofocus; Samsung’s cited specification gives 12 MP. Megapixel counts and lens lists describe hardware, not image quality. No comparable camera testing is available here to establish which phone takes better photos or video.
Battery and charging: capacity and rated watts are not test results
On paper, vivo’s stated 7000 mAh typical capacity and up-to-90W charging exceed Samsung India’s 5000 mAh typical capacity and 25W rating. vivo specifies that reaching its advertised 90W FlashCharge requires its original standard charger. Capacity and charging wattage alone do not establish real-world battery life or how long a full charge takes.

Performance: compare only with like-for-like testing
The phones use different processors: MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo in the vivo and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 in the Samsung. Chip names and manufacturing-node details do not establish which phone is faster for everyday use or gaming. No comparable benchmark or hands-on performance test is available to support a speed ranking.
Updates and durability: read the qualifications
Samsung’s published commitment is up to six generations of Android OS/One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates from the initial global launch; rollout timing and applicable market or device terms matter. The cited materials do not establish a comparable update-duration promise for vivo. The IP ratings also come from different test standards: they are not a promise that either phone is damage-proof, and Samsung’s US page specifically advises against beach or pool use.

India price difference
Samsung India announced these Galaxy A27 5G launch prices on June 30, 2026. Its announcement said availability would begin July 3, 2026. The vivo figure is from an India store listing accessed in 2026, which showed the selected configuration out of stock.

Samsung’s US product page separately gives a starting price of $349.99 and availability from July 14, 2026. That is a different market and should not be compared directly with the rupee prices above.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the vivo V70 FE if its listed larger, higher-resolution screen, 200 MP OIS main camera, higher typical battery capacity or faster rated charging best fits your priorities—and the current price and availability work for you.
- Consider the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G if the lower announced India price for its 8GB+128GB model or Samsung’s explicit software-support commitment matters more to you. Its camera setup also includes a macro camera.
- Compare the exact local offers if another memory configuration or market is relevant. Prices, availability, network bands, software features and box contents can vary by country; the figures above are not a current worldwide price comparison.
For camera quality, gaming speed, battery endurance or charging time, rely on comparable testing of the exact regional models rather than inferring a winner from specifications alone.
