The clearest differences on paper are charging speed, display specifications and design: Vivo lists 90W charging and a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED screen, while Realme lists 80W charging and a display that reaches 144Hz. For buyers in India, a 91mobiles comparison published in April 2026 also listed the Realme at a lower starting price, though those figures are dated. No matched camera, battery or performance tests establish an overall winner.

Which phone has the better camera setup?
The headline camera hardware is similar: both manufacturers specify a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP secondary rear camera and a 50MP selfie camera. The secondary camera is described as a 120-degree wide-angle unit on Vivo’s India page and an ultra-wide camera on Realme’s global specification page. Neither cited specification page lists a dedicated telephoto camera.
These specifications describe hardware, not photo results. Megapixel count and OIS alone do not show which phone takes better pictures; image processing, low-light performance, focus, video quality and consistency need direct, matched testing. The available comparison does not provide that testing, so there is no substantiated photo-quality winner.

Battery capacity and charging: what the numbers mean
Both phones list a 7,000mAh typical battery. Realme additionally gives a rated capacity of 6,830mAh. Vivo specifies 90W FlashCharge, compared with Realme’s 80W Ultra Charge. That gives Vivo the higher listed charging wattage, but wattage is not a measured charge time. Battery life and charging speed in practice depend on usage, settings, temperature and test conditions; the specifications do not establish which lasts longer or reaches a full charge sooner in a controlled comparison.
Display: 1.5K resolution or up to 144Hz?
Vivo V70 FE
Vivo specifies a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,900-nit HBM brightness. The resolution is a notable spec for readers who prioritize detail, while 120Hz supports smoother motion than a conventional 60Hz screen.

Realme 16 Pro
Realme lists an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Its global page gives several brightness figures under different labels, including normal, HBM and APL. Since those labels and measurement conditions are not directly aligned with Vivo’s HBM figure, they do not support a reliable claim that one screen is categorically brighter.
On the published specifications, choose based on the stated trade-off: Vivo gives a defined 1.5K resolution and 120Hz rate; Realme offers a higher maximum refresh rate. A higher refresh rate does not by itself determine overall display quality or guarantee that every app or game will use it.

Design, finish and water resistance
Vivo highlights a Northern Lights Purple finish with a Darkness Glow effect. The 91mobiles comparison describes the Realme’s styling as minimal; which design looks better is subjective. Vivo advertises IP68/IP69 protection, while the comparison reports IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings for the Realme. These are manufacturer-rated protection levels, not a promise that either phone is waterproof or immune to damage. Check the rating for the exact regional model and follow its care guidance.

In its April 2026 comparison, 91mobiles reported starting prices of ₹37,999 for the Vivo V70 FE and about ₹35,999 for the Realme 16 Pro, with Realme configurations listed ₹2,000–₹4,000 lower. Treat those as publication-era figures rather than current offers. Before buying, compare the same RAM and storage tier, then check the price and warranty for the exact handset in your market.

- You value the higher listed 90W charging wattage.
- You prefer its specified 1.5K, 120Hz display.
- You like the Northern Lights Purple Darkness Glow finish.
- Its current price and the support policy for your region suit you.

For either phone, verify country-specific network-band support and eSIM availability: Realme’s global specifications describe multiple network versions and regional eSIM notes. Neither the shared 200MP camera label nor the shared typical battery capacity proves which phone performs better for photography or lasts longer in daily use.
