The vivo V70 Elite is the clearer choice if you want a dedicated telephoto camera: its official India specifications list a 50 MP telephoto camera with OIS alongside main and ultra-wide cameras. The Motorola Edge 70 Pro 5G is listed with a larger 6.8-inch, 144 Hz display and higher benchmark results by 91mobiles. Both are reported to have 6,500 mAh batteries and 90 W-class wired charging. The price gap needs caution: 91mobiles displayed a ₹27,000 difference using prices from different retailers, not a like-for-like or guaranteed current comparison.

Which phone has the better camera?
vivo V70 Elite: dedicated telephoto hardware
vivo lists three rear cameras: a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP ZEISS telephoto camera with OIS, and an 8 MP ultra-wide. That telephoto camera gives the V70 Elite the more explicitly versatile camera setup on paper, especially if you take portraits or want a dedicated zoom perspective rather than relying on a main camera crop.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro 5G: main and ultra-wide/macro
The 91mobiles comparison lists a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP ultra-wide/macro camera for the Motorola, but no dedicated telephoto camera. That does not prove the vivo will produce better photos in every situation: sensor behavior, lens quality, processing, and shooting conditions all affect results, and megapixel counts alone cannot settle image quality.

Both phones are listed with 50 MP autofocus front cameras. The vivo specification identifies its front camera as a ZEISS group selfie camera; resolution and autofocus details do not by themselves establish which phone takes better selfies.
Which has the better display?
The Motorola is listed by 91mobiles with a 6.8-inch panel and 144 Hz refresh rate, compared with vivo’s officially specified 6.59-inch AMOLED display and up to 120 Hz. The Motorola therefore offers the larger screen and higher listed refresh rate. The vivo is the more compact option of the two, though the figures alone do not determine brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor readability.

Which phone is faster?
The listed chipsets are Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for the vivo and Dimensity 8500 Extreme for the Motorola. 91mobiles reports stronger benchmark scores for the Motorola, and lists its processor at up to 3.4 GHz versus up to 3.0 GHz for vivo. These are not a guarantee that every everyday task will feel faster: benchmark results are synthetic comparisons, while app behavior, thermals, software, and workload matter in actual use.

Battery, charging, and reported endurance
Both models are listed with 6,500 mAh batteries and 90 W-class wired charging: vivo specifies 90 W, while 91mobiles lists 90 W Turbo for the Motorola. These matching headline ratings do not establish equal charging time or real-world battery life.
91mobiles displays PCMark endurance results of 18 hours 19 minutes for the vivo and 14 hours 1 minute for the Motorola. Those are results from that comparison page, not promises of how long either phone will last in typical daily use; battery life changes with settings, signal conditions, apps, and workload.

vivo announced four generations of OS updates and six years of security updates for the V70 and V70 Elite in its India launch release. 91mobiles reports three years of OS updates and five years of security updates for the Motorola; confirm that policy with Motorola for the exact India model before relying on it for a long-term purchase.
Both phones are listed as IP68 and IP69 rated. These ratings do not mean either device is waterproof. vivo specifically cautions that its resistance is based on laboratory conditions and can decrease with normal wear and use.
