The vivo V70 Elite is the stronger fit if you want a dedicated telephoto camera, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 platform or higher rated wired charging. The realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition suits buyers who prefer a larger, faster-refresh display, a 200MP main camera, a higher-capacity battery and Hogwarts-themed design. Neither is a universal winner: the right choice depends on which features matter to you and the live price of the exact storage variant.

- This Protect case is Suitable for iPhone.
- 1.0 mm raised lip offers better all-around protection for both screen and camera, and 4 corners provide stronger protection from drops, shocks, and bumps.
- The soft TPU edges of this case have a silky touch while providing excellent grip without adding bulk to the overall size of your phone.
- While protection is a priority, we strive to find lightweight materials to keep your phone as slim as possible. The fine matte finish on the back effectively reduces greasy fingerprints and annoying scratches.
- Support wireless charging.
These are dated listing snapshots, not guaranteed current offers or necessarily like-for-like configurations. Check the live seller page for the exact RAM and storage, seller, discount and stock before deciding which costs less. The realme comparison listing was out of stock when checked, so its displayed figure may not represent an offer you can currently purchase.
Which phone has the better display and performance platform?
Display size and refresh rate
The realme has the larger listed panel: 6.78 inches versus 6.59 inches on the vivo. Its listed refresh rate is also higher at 144Hz versus 120Hz. Those specifications make the realme the more compelling option on paper for buyers who prioritize screen size and a high refresh-rate display; they do not establish how the panels compare in brightness, color accuracy or day-to-day smoothness.
Processor and storage
The vivo uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the realme listing names the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max. vivo also specifies LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage for its listed configurations. These differences identify the hardware platforms, but no controlled performance comparison of these exact phones is established here. Do not treat the processor names alone as a measured speed verdict.

Camera choice: telephoto versatility or high-resolution main camera?
The vivo’s rear-camera setup includes a dedicated 50MP OIS telephoto camera alongside a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultrawide. That gives it a distinct listed camera role for telephoto shots. The realme instead emphasizes a 200MP primary camera and pairs it with an 8MP ultrawide.
A higher megapixel count does not by itself prove that one phone takes better photos. No equivalent camera test covering both exact devices is established here. The front-camera resolutions are listed at 50MP for both, but those numbers do not establish equal selfie quality.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Battery capacity and charging
The realme lists a 7,000mAh battery, compared with 6,500mAh for the vivo. The vivo’s rated wired charging is higher at 90W versus 80W for the realme. Capacity and charging wattage are specifications, not a guarantee of real-world battery life or charging time; no controlled endurance comparison for these two phones is established here.

What the Harry Potter Edition adds
The realme edition’s main distinction is its Hogwarts treatment rather than a different category of phone. realme describes four-house crest detailing, a UV-reactive color-changing effect, a chessboard-inspired textured back and a Hedwig-inspired camera decoration. It also lists Hogwarts-themed wallpapers, a boot and fingerprint animation, redesigned app icons and limited-edition gift packaging on its official product page.
