On vivo India’s published specifications, the V60 leads on camera reach and charging speed, while the T5 5G leads on battery capacity, display resolution and screen size. The price gap depends on which memory configuration you compare. vivo’s India store pages show the T5 5G 6GB+128GB at ₹34,999, the V60 8GB+128GB at ₹41,999 and the V60 12GB+256GB at ₹45,999. That makes the difference ₹7,000 or ₹11,000, and neither pairing is a like-for-like memory match.
Every spec below comes from vivo’s own product pages. None of it is an independent side-by-side test, so read the numbers as what vivo claims rather than what the phones measure in your hands.

Camera: the V60 has the longer reach
The main difference is the telephoto lens. The V60 lists a dedicated 50 MP ZEISS super telephoto camera alongside its main and ultra-wide cameras. The T5 5G lists only a main and an ultra-wide camera on its rear, so vivo does not offer a dedicated telephoto option on that model.

Battery and charging: larger capacity versus faster charging
The T5 5G has the bigger stated battery at 7050 mAh, compared with the V60’s 6500 mAh. vivo describes the V60 figure as a typical capacity. The V60 charges faster on paper, at 90W FlashCharge compared with 44W on the T5 5G.

vivo also publishes endurance figures for the V60: 9 hours of navigation and 22 hours of YouTube playback. These are vivo’s own results under its test conditions, not guaranteed usage times. Battery life depends on screen brightness, signal strength, app use and network conditions, so capacity alone does not predict how long either phone lasts.
Display: the T5 5G has the sharper, larger panel
Both phones use AMOLED panels. The T5 5G has a 6.83-inch screen at 2800×1260, which is larger and higher-resolution than the V60’s 6.77-inch 2392×1080 panel. vivo’s listings do not provide brightness or colour measurements for either screen, so resolution and size are the only display differences that can be compared from these pages.

Processor and software
Chipsets
The V60 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and the T5 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo. These are different chip families from different vendors, and their model names do not tell you which one is faster in daily use. Any speed claim should come from independent testing, which this comparison does not include.
Software
vivo’s V60 page names Funtouch OS 15. The T5 5G store listing names Origin OS 6.0. These are the labels vivo uses on its India pages, and you should check the software version on the phone you actually buy, since the label can differ by market and batch.

vendor-published performance and claims
These are vivo’s own claims. Each one comes with the test conditions vivo attaches to it.
- T5 5G AnTuTu score of 1,202,592: vivo reports this from its laboratory use of AnTuTu Benchmark V11 on a 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM configuration. vivo says the result is for reference and can vary by configuration and test environment.
- T5 5G on-device AI up to 233% faster: vivo compares the T5 5G with the previous-generation MediaTek Dimensity 7400 in its internal testing of a 3B LLM at about 10 tokens/s, under conditions dated 30 July 2026. vivo says real performance may vary with software, workload and configuration.
- V60 “India’s Slimmest Smartphone in the 6500mAh Battery Category”: vivo says this is based on its internal research as of 11.07.2025 and refers to the Mist Gray version’s thickness.
- V60 endurance: 9 hours of navigation and 22 hours of YouTube playback, as covered in the battery section above.
Which phone fits which buyer
- Choose the V60 if you take a lot of portrait and zoomed photos, want the dedicated telephoto lens, or want the faster 90W charging. It is also the better choice if you want the higher-resolution selfie camera.
- Choose the T5 5G if battery capacity and screen size matter most, you want the higher-resolution display, and you can accept 44W charging and no telephoto lens. It is also the cheaper option on the displayed prices.
- Consider the price per configuration if you need 8GB RAM or 256GB storage. At that point the ₹7,000 to ₹11,000 gap reflects a different phone, not only a different price.
Neither phone wins on the published numbers alone. The V60 is the better fit for camera-focused buyers, and the T5 5G is the better fit for buyers who prioritise battery size and display. Independent testing would be needed to rank camera quality, real-world battery life or processor speed.
