Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →The vivo V60 and OPPO Reno15 5G are closely matched on paper. Both list the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a 6500 mAh typical battery, and a rear setup of two 50MP cameras plus an 8MP ultrawide. The differences that matter are listed charging speed (up to 90W on the V60, up to 80W on the Reno15), the water-resistance rating, screen size, and price. The lowest listed prices are not a like-for-like comparison because the two phones start at different storage tiers.
Unless stated otherwise, the figures below are India-market specifications and prices from official manufacturer material reviewed on 7 October 2026. The OPPO Reno15 5G in this comparison is model CPH2825.

Cameras: same layout, different branding and listed features
The camera hardware looks similar on paper, which is why the branding and feature lists deserve a closer read. vivo lists ZEISS-branded optics on all three rear cameras and on the selfie camera. OPPO’s listing does not use that branding, but it does state optical zoom and video capability in more detail, including the 3.5× optical zoom figure for video and the 4K 60 fps recording on both sides.

Battery and charging
Both phones list the same 6500 mAh typical capacity, so battery capacity does not separate them. The V60’s maximum listed charging rate is higher, at up to 90W against up to 80W for the Reno15. The Reno15’s page also gives a rated capacity of 6335 mAh, which is a different figure from the typical one. The reviewed V60 material gives only the typical figure, so do not treat the two phones’ capacity numbers as directly interchangeable.
Neither listing states real-world endurance or how long a full charge takes. Those depend on usage, network conditions and the charger you use. Whether a charger is included in the box is not established for either phone in the reviewed material, so check the retail listing before you buy.

- Inside the center of the holder ring there is a piece of hidden iron that allows the case to be attached to the magnetic car holder, strong and sturdy, navigate on your trips without danger.
Durability and water protection
vivo lists IP68 and IP69 ratings on its global specifications page. That page is not the India store page, so confirm that the Indian retail unit carries the same rating before relying on it for water exposure. The Reno15 India specification page reviewed for this comparison does not show an IP rating. That is a gap in the reviewed listing, not confirmation that the phone is unrated. Check OPPO’s full product documentation for the Reno15 5G (CPH2825) before making a claim either way.
Price difference in India
The two price sources are not from the same date. vivo’s figures are the store prices displayed on its India website as reviewed on 7 October 2026. OPPO’s figures are launch prices from its India release dated 8 January 2026, with sales starting 13 January 2026 through Amazon, Flipkart, mainline retail and OPPO’s e-store. Prices shift after launch, so treat the OPPO column as a historical reference point.

| Storage configuration | vivo V60 (India store, displayed 7 Oct 2026) | OPPO Reno15 5G (India launch price, 8 Jan 2026) | Gap at the same configuration |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8GB + 128GB | ₹41,999 | Not listed | Not comparable |
| 8GB + 256GB | Listed; price not stated in the reviewed material | ₹45,999 | Cannot be calculated from the reviewed material |
| 12GB + 256GB | ₹45,999 | ₹48,999 | Reno15 ₹3,000 higher at these dates |
| 12GB + 512GB | Not listed | ₹53,999 | Not comparable |
| 16GB + 512GB | Listed; price not stated in the reviewed material | Not listed | Not comparable |
The most useful price comparison is the 12GB + 256GB tier, where both phones are listed. The ₹3,000 gap there comes from two different dates, so it shows the launch-to-store difference rather than a current market gap. The lowest tiers are not comparable in the same way. The Reno15’s entry tier costs ₹4,000 more than the V60’s 8GB + 128GB, but it has double the storage.
Which phone fits which buyer
- Choose the V60 if you want the higher listed charging rate, the IP68 and IP69 rating on vivo’s global page, or a larger listed screen, and if the V60’s current store price fits your budget at your chosen storage tier.
- Choose the Reno15 if you want listed 4K 60 fps video on both cameras, the 12GB + 512GB or 8GB + 256GB tiers, or OPPO’s launch-channel availability through Amazon, Flipkart, retail stores or OPPO’s e-store.
- Match RAM and storage first. The listed tiers differ, and a gap at one tier does not carry over to another.
- Confirm the current live price, stock, warranty terms and network-band support for the exact model you intend to buy.
What these specifications do not prove
- No independent benchmark, battery endurance test or camera test was part of this comparison.
- Neither listing establishes real-world image quality, gaming performance or charging times.
- Live stock and price were not verified for either phone at the time of writing.
The Bottom Line
On listed specifications, the vivo V60 has the stronger charging figure and the only stated IP68 and IP69 rating, while the Reno15 offers listed 4K 60 fps video and a less crowded set of storage tiers at launch. Both share the same chipset and battery capacity, so neither has a clear performance advantage on paper. At the 12GB + 256GB tier, the Reno15 was ₹3,000 more at launch. Choose on the storage tier and current live price you need, and confirm the water-protection rating for the exact Indian model before buying.
