The vivo V50 and vivo V60e look very similar on the screen, but they split on almost everything else: processor, rear camera layout, battery capacity and the storage you get at each price. On vivo’s published India specifications, the V60e has the larger battery and a 200 MP main camera, while the V50 has a 50 MP ultra-wide camera and a higher 12GB-plus-512GB top configuration. Neither page establishes which phone is faster, takes better photos or lasts longer in real use, so this comparison sticks to what the manufacturer and store listings actually state.
Quick answer: which one fits which buyer
- Choose the V50 if you want the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration, which the V60e does not list. Its India listing for that variant is ₹48,999.
- Choose the V60e if a larger stated battery, a 200 MP main camera and a vivo-stated support commitment (up to three major OS updates and five years of security updates) matter more to you. Its 8GB+128GB listing is ₹34,999, the lowest price in this comparison.
- Do not decide on the ₹10,000 gap alone. The two listings compared below have different storage, so the gap is not a like-for-like price difference.

Processor
The V50 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and the V60e uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360-Turbo. Both are mid-range chips, but the chip name alone does not tell you how either phone performs under load, how it manages heat, or how quickly apps open. Those results come from benchmark and sustained-performance tests, and neither vivo page provides them. Treat the processor line as a spec difference, not a speed verdict.

Display
On the listed specifications, the two screens are the same: 6.77-inch AMOLED, 2392 × 1080 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. You will not notice a difference in screen size or sharpness from the spec sheets alone.
Brightness is the one display figure that looks different on paper. vivo’s V50 page lists local peak brightness at 4,500 nits, while the V60e page lists 1,600 nits. These numbers should not be read as a simple brightness win. Neither page shows the test conditions behind its figure, so the two values may not be measured the same way, and a direct comparison is not reliable.
Cameras
The camera layouts are where the two phones diverge most. The main sensors differ by resolution and the second rear camera differs in type, so the cameras are not interchangeable.

Main camera
The V50 has a 50 MP OIS main camera. The V60e has a 200 MP OIS main camera. The V60e’s listed main-camera resolution is four times higher on paper. A higher pixel count does not automatically mean better photos, because sensor size, pixel processing, lens quality and software all affect output. The listings do not show any side-by-side image results.
Second rear camera
The V50 pairs its main camera with a 50 MP autofocus ultra-wide camera. The V60e pairs its main camera with an 8 MP wide-angle camera. If you shoot a lot of wide landscapes or group photos, the V50’s listed ultra-wide hardware is the more capable specification on paper. The V60e’s second camera is listed at a much lower resolution, and the page does not give a field of view for it, so do not assume the two cameras cover the same frame.
Front camera
Both phones list a 50 MP autofocus front camera. The V60e’s listing also includes Eye AF, a focusing feature that tracks a subject’s eyes. The V50 page does not list an equivalent feature.

Battery and charging
The V60e’s typical battery capacity is 6,500 mAh, and the V50’s is 6,000 mAh, a difference of 500 mAh. Both phones are listed with 90W charging, though the V50 page calls its charging system “90W FlashCharge” and the V60e page simply lists “90W”. Real-world battery life depends on screen use, network conditions and software, and neither vivo page establishes endurance results, so the extra 500 mAh should be read as a capacity difference only.

Both phones list IP68 and IP69 ingress protection. That means identical ratings on paper, so this does not separate them.
Software support
Both phones list Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15. The V60e’s overview page states support for up to three major OS version updates and five years of security updates. The V50’s parameter page does not state an equivalent support duration, so this comparison cannot confirm that the V50 has the same commitment. If update length matters to you, check the support terms vivo gives for the V50 in your country before you buy.

The prices below were captured from vivo’s India Store on 7 October 2026. Store prices, promotions and stock can change, so confirm them on the listing before you buy.
| Phone and variant | Listed price (India) | Note |
|---|---|---|
| vivo V50 12GB+512GB (Rose Red) | ₹48,999 | Listing: vivo India Store, V50 |
| vivo V60e 12GB+256GB (Elite Purple) | ₹38,999 | Listing: vivo India Store, V60e or second V60e listing |
| vivo V60e 8GB+128GB (Elite Purple) | ₹34,999 | Same V60e listing pages as above |
Why the ₹10,000 gap is not a like-for-like difference
The most-quoted gap is ₹10,000 between the V50 12GB+512GB and the V60e 12GB+256GB. Those two configurations differ in storage, so the price difference combines storage with whatever else vivo prices into each model. It does not show what the V60e would cost with 512GB, or what the V50 would cost with 256GB. The captured India listings also do not include V50 prices for its 8GB configurations, so there is no official price in this set for a V50 entry model against the V60e’s ₹34,999 listing.

To make a fair comparison, match RAM and storage first. At the same 12GB RAM, the V50 offers 512GB and the V60e offers 256GB, so the phones are only comparable on price at a 256GB level if you find a V50 256GB listing. Check that listing yourself before deciding.
What the specs do not settle
- Performance: Two different chipsets with no published head-to-head benchmark, so neither is declared faster.
- Photography: Megapixel counts and lens counts are hardware descriptions, not image-quality results.
- Battery life: A 6,500 mAh typical figure is not an endurance test.
- Brightness: The 4,500-nit and 1,600-nit figures use different, unstated conditions.
How to decide
- Pick the storage you need. If 512GB is the requirement, only the V50 12GB+512GB is captured in this comparison.
- If the camera and battery spec numbers matter most, the V60e leads on main-camera resolution and battery capacity; the V50 leads on listed ultra-wide hardware.
- If you want a stated software-update commitment, the V60e page gives one; check the V50 terms separately.
- Confirm the exact variant, price and availability on the listing before you buy, and compare the same RAM and storage across both models.
Once you have checked those four points, the choice comes down to storage and camera priorities rather than a single winner.
