In the India-market prices surfaced for this comparison, the TECNO is ₹7,000 more expensive, but the prices refer to different sources and may not be like-for-like offers.

Selfies and ultra-wide photos
Vivo lists a 50MP autofocus front camera and a 50MP autofocus ultra-wide rear camera. TECNO lists a 13MP front camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Those figures make the V50 the stronger choice if camera resolution and autofocus on those cameras are priorities. Megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos.

Stated battery capacity

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Vivo V50 on these specifications if you prioritize a higher-resolution autofocus selfie camera, a higher-resolution autofocus ultra-wide camera, or the higher listed wired-charging rating.
- Consider the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G if the higher listed refresh rate, higher display resolution, or larger stated battery capacity matters more to you.
- Compare actual listings before deciding on price. The surfaced Vivo figure is for an 8GB+256GB variant, while the TECNO figure is a reported starting price; confirm the precise configurations, current seller price, and stock.
