Which phone is better for your priorities?
Choose the T4 Ultra for newer listed hardware and longer optical reach
The T4 Ultra lists a Dimensity 9300+, a 3x periscope camera and 90W charging, compared with the V40 Pro’s Dimensity 9200+, 2x optical telephoto portrait camera and 80W charging. It also lists Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15. Those specifications make it the stronger on-paper fit if you value those features, but they do not establish real-world benchmark results, charging time or software-update support.
Consider the V40 Pro for its screen size, selfie camera and protection rating
The V40 Pro’s listed 6.78-inch display is slightly larger than the T4 Ultra’s 6.67-inch screen; both list 2800 × 1260 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its front camera is 50MP with autofocus, while the T4 Ultra lists a 32MP front camera. vivo also lists IP68 for the V40 Pro and IP64 for the T4 Ultra. These ratings indicate different stated ingress-protection levels, not a guarantee against damage in every situation.

Which phone has the better camera?
The official specifications do not establish an overall photo-quality winner. The V40 Pro has three listed 50MP rear cameras, including a 2x optical ZEISS telephoto portrait camera. The T4 Ultra pairs its 50MP main camera with a 50MP 3x periscope and an 8MP ultra-wide. The T4 Ultra therefore offers longer stated optical reach; the V40 Pro specifies higher resolution and autofocus on the front camera. Megapixel counts and camera layouts alone cannot show which phone takes better photos in comparable conditions.
What is the vivo V40 Pro vs T4 Ultra price difference?
On the vivo India E-Store pages observed, the V40 Pro was listed at ₹60,999 for 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The T4 Ultra was listed at ₹37,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, with an MRP of ₹42,999 shown. The arithmetic difference between those displayed prices is ₹23,000, but it compares different storage capacities rather than equivalent configurations. Both pages showed unavailable or out-of-stock status, so the figures should not be treated as a guaranteed current offer or street-price gap.

Both phones list a 5500mAh typical-capacity battery. vivo rates the V40 Pro for 80W charging and the T4 Ultra for 90W.
