Price difference: compare the same configuration
The official vivo store comparison result lists the T5 Lite 44W 5G with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage at ₹26,999. A separate official T5x store result lists the 6GB+128GB variant at ₹45,999. These figures were surfaced for different storage configurations, and other T5x store results show a conflicting pricing context; they do not establish a reliable like-for-like price difference. Check the live listing and checkout total for the same RAM and storage configuration, including any bank offers, before buying. Processor: T5x has the stronger listed chipset
The T5x uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo, while the T5 Lite uses the Dimensity 6300 5G. That gives the T5x the more capable-sounding specification on paper, but the listed chip names alone do not establish real-world speed, sustained performance, gaming frame rates or thermal behavior. Display: similar size and refresh rate, different sharpness
Both phones have LCD panels around 6.7 inches and support a 120Hz refresh rate. The T5x’s 2344 × 1080 resolution is substantially higher than the T5 Lite’s 1600 × 720, so fine text and detailed images have more pixels to work with on the T5x. The T5 Lite’s listed panel is lower resolution; the shared 120Hz figure does not make the two screens equivalent.
Battery and charging: more capacity on T5x, same rated charging
vivo lists a 7200mAh battery for the T5x and 6500mAh for the T5 Lite, with 44W charging for both. Capacity is a specification, not a runtime result: actual battery life depends on use, settings and network conditions. vivo’s T5 Lite page describes its battery as a “high-density 6500 mAh BlueVolt battery” in manufacturer marketing copy, not an independent endurance test.
Cameras: higher selfie resolution does not settle image quality
Both models list a 50MP main rear camera. The T5x’s listed front camera is 32MP versus 5MP on the T5 Lite, a clear difference in stated resolution, but megapixels alone cannot prove which phone takes better photos or video. Sensor, lens, processing and shooting conditions matter, and no hands-on camera test is available for this comparison.

Ingress protection: ratings differ, but neither is a damage guarantee
vivo lists IP68 and IP69 for the T5x and IP65 for the T5 Lite. These are the manufacturer’s stated ratings; they should not be read as a promise that either phone is immune to water or dust damage in every situation. Follow vivo’s care and warranty guidance rather than intentionally exposing a handset to liquids.

Choose the vivo T5x 5G if
- You prioritize the T5x’s listed Dimensity 7400-Turbo chipset.
- You want the sharper 2344 × 1080 display rather than a 1600 × 720 panel.
- You prefer its larger stated 7200mAh battery or higher-resolution 32MP front camera.
- The listed IP68 and IP69 ratings matter to your decision, subject to vivo’s usage guidance.
- You have confirmed the price for your exact RAM and storage choice and it fits your budget.
Consider the vivo T5 Lite 44W 5G if
- Your priority is keeping the purchase price lower, and the current offer for your chosen variant remains attractive.
- You are comfortable with its 1600 × 720 display and 5MP front-camera specification.
- You want 44W charging and a listed 6500mAh battery without paying for the T5x’s higher-listed specifications.
For either phone, verify the exact model name and RAM/storage configuration on the seller’s page. A lower price for one configuration is not automatically a better deal than a differently configured phone.
